Causes pain/Scratches, Bristles bend

There is not enough protection at the end of the wire bristles. While holding my pups ears to brush them, the brush came in contact with my hand. Caused scratches and I then realized why my dog was trying to bolt. In addition, some of the outer bristles bent after less than 10 strokes. I am going to try to return it and look for something else.

Dont buy

Horrible. I bought the first one and used it twice before it broke. I thought it was defective until I bought the second one and the same thing happened to it. When you push the hair off the bristles do not enter correctly jamming the brush and damaging the bristles.

I have a malamute (my first mistake when buying this product). This brush/comb is not meant for heavy/thick double coat pups. My malamute was not even matted or shedding and this brush broke after 3 used. The brush head snapped off the base.

When you push on the release button, it extends too far and some bristles pop out of their holes, rendering it unusable since it cannot retract ever again. Do not waste your money. We replaced the original one twice and every time it was the same story.
