It has a tacky finish that allows foundation to last much longer throughout the day, especially during the summer. I have combination skin and it worked well for me, for a long-lasting and hydrating finish on my complexion. The ingredients also included niacinamide which I like for that extra hydration. Surprisingly good. It goes on kind of thick and tacky at first, which caught me off guard, but once it sets, it gives this soft matte finish that somehow still feels hydrating? My makeup stuck to it really well and my foundation didn’t slide around or break up by the afternoon, even in heat and humidity. I also noticed less shine overall throughout the day. Not completely oil-free (nothing ever is for me), but a huge improvement. And no breakouts or irritation, which is always something I worry about with new primers.
