L'Oreal Paris Elvive Dream Lengths Restoring Shampoo for Long, Damaged Hair

This is very good shampoo for damaged hair. Really makes a difference. Makes my hair more soft and shiny. Highly recommended. Great product

Date: Last Monday night. This product smells amazing. Feeling smooth and healthy during a final rinse. But immediately after I got out of the shower, my skin was slightly itchy, as I got dressed and ready to blow dry, my skin got itchier. (I wash my hair and style it at night and body rinse in the morning) as the night went on, I was constantly itching my skin all over my body, my ears, my face, my neck, my feet even. A severe itch that went on for about 2 nights, the 3rd night it got better. I didn’t sleep for 60 hours because of how bad my itching was. The morning after the wash, the shower felt amazing. Things got better but then progressively worsened in the office. I was itching so hard. I started to get light headed, my ears were red, my throat felt like it was closing up. I felt like I was going to pass out. Benadryl didn’t do the job. It was about a 30 minute temporary fix and that’s not sufficient for dosage. Benadryl anti itch cream did help. I put it on during the day, again as needed, and before bed. Only thing is that waking up in flakes of dried cream is beyond me. But I’d rather that than lose more sleep! I had to cancel my hair appointment for the weekend. I purchased a sensitive skin laundry detergent while I was having severe itches to lighten any more possible discomfort. It only affected my whole work week and I slept through a whole day after I was feeling little to no itches. I almost convinced myself I had head and body lice. All is good now. I remember this happening to me about 3-4 years ago when I was in college and wanted to try this product. I’m not allergic to anything else but my body hates this stuff!! Note: unfortunately I didn’t take photos because I was internally and almost visibly externally freaking out of the reaction my body had to this product. I felt like I purchased this to die. Also - NO RETURNS UNLESS YOU used A TARGET REWARDS MEMBER CARD to purchase.

My daughter has struggled with growing her hair for years and I got this for her and she has definately noticed a difference in just using it for 4 weeks. The smell is great, just wish the ingredients were a little more "clean" but overall, it's been great for hair growth!!

I have to wash my hair every day. Even if I wash it the night before, I have to wash it again in the morning. I got this shampoo and double washed my hair. When it dried, it was still greasy. Definitely do not recommend for those that have thin, easily oily hair like myself.

Love love love this shampoo! I have seen how this shampoo has transformed my hair is very fine typically dry and prone to breakage this leaves my hair shining soft and frizz free not to mention my hair has been growing.

Nope! After 1 wash, my hair was stripped of color. Even my hair stylist noticed. It is not sulfate free from what I read. After the fact unfortunately. I used it a 2nd time and took more of the color out. Never using again.

Good value for the price

Not only is this particular shampoo not good, This is the 2nd time this week Target has given me the wrong item. I have selected do not substitute and they still do it, id rather not get my item then to get one i didnt want. Get better Target, idk how it even allows you to scan the wrong item. drive up defeats the purpose because i have to go in anyway to get the right item! What if a person is physically able to go in?! They need the option of 0 stars.

Worst shampoo i have ever tried while i thought my hair was looking less frizzy. In two week i started noticing it was causing me hair loss. So disappointing.

Thick, moisturizing conditioner.

Ok to all my girlies out there. I have long hair but recently cut a few inches because the ends were very damaged due to strengthening. I was using Pantene before, and heard very good reviews about this product so I gave it a try. I kid you not the first time I used it I felt the difference. My hair is thick, and tends to get frizzy but with this shampoo my hair has such a good shine to it and looks healthier. I totally recommend going for it if you have similar hair to mine. I have low porosity hair btw hope this helps!

This is very comparable to hire and shampoos. I can already see the difference and just 30 days.

Did not detangle at all!! My hair was a knotty mess every time I used it. Also, it made hair greasy again within less then 48 hours and with my other shampoo/conditioner I would only need to wash my hair twice a week.

I find myself missing this shampoo every time I'm out of it! It feels high end!!

it worked for a little .. my hair was so much smoother and then all of my hair fell out.. i didn’t want to think it was because of this shampoo.. but as soon as i stopped taking it stopped falling as much!

I bought this hair line (shampoo, conditioner, and heat protectant spray) a week ago and my hair has never looked better. I have fine hair and I was struggling with frizziness. I tried all kinds of different hair care lines (drugstore and professional) and this is the best by a landslide.

This truly does allow me to comb through my hair after a shower very easily. No tangles. My hair is soft and shiny and looks so healthy. I have tried many other brands and keep coming back to Elvive. My hair is very long and in fairness I don't do anything damaging to it. Such as heated appliances, color or perms. If your hair is badly damaged I don't know what this would do for you but I think it would help. The scent is lovely too.

I’m so pleasantly impressed with how beautiful my hair is just after one wash! Smells amazing, and feels really easy to lather and my hair is clean and light - not weighted down with residue or anything. It tamed tangles and frizz on my long to the waist straight hair. It’s shinier just after one wash. Better than my 40$ high end shampoo from Brad mondo. I am switching to this. Quality like high end shampoo and better and smelll is just perfect

Both of my daughters love this shampoo. They say it leaves it very smooth and shiny and I believe them. We have tried other brands; expensive and cheaper ones, but we always keep coming back to this one.

The condition of my hair is much better whem I use this and it has the most amazing scent!
