  • A: Cradle cap isn't exema or psoriasis. So this is too strong for baby's hair. You would be best to rub baby oil in the cradle cap. Let it sit and when softened, gently take baby's comb and lightly run along scalp and the cradle cap will lift off in pieces. You may need to add more baby oil. Caution it doesn't run. And dont use too much as you do need to wash it out. It is a chore to keep up with. But, I survived 3 kids. :) this is the best way

    Works better for me than Nizoral!

    I've been following my docs advice and using Nizoral shampoo for some scalp issues, and it's left my hair SO greasy with buildup. I can't stand it. So I did some searching online and people said to try Tsal instead. So I gave it a shot. I figured "what have I got to lose". I am so glad I took a chance! This stuff cleaned my scalp like NOTHING else ever has. I made sure to focus the product on the scalp only, and left it on for a few minutes. It rinsed out rather "squeaky clean". The directions said to repeat. Instead of using it again, I used my Olaplex shampoo and followed with the Olaplex conditioner on the mid-lengths to ends. I'm glad I tried this. I will keep it in my arsenal and use it a few times a week like the directions say. And on all other days I will stick with Olaplex. If you have scaling/large flakes with build-up on your scalp and have had no such luck with Nizoral, give this a try! You'll be happy you did.

    Finally back!!

    Make that scalp uncrustable

    This is a great therapeutic, clarifying formula that removes residues that could irritate your scalp, and worsen any conditions like psoriasis or dandruff. It was very effective when I used it, alternating it with Neutrogena's T-Gel formula. T-Sal may feel and smell more gentle because they contain different active ingredients: coal tar vs salicylic acid. The derm girlies already know.

    I grew up using the old T/Gel formula, which has a strong smell and very aggressive ingredients. I prefer this shampoo and find it very effective. The smell is a lot lighter and my scalp isn't overproducing oil to compensate for the stripping effect. I gave my hair two good scrubs with this followed by my regular conditioner and my scalp is already so much clearer. If you use regular anti-fungal dandruff shampoo and find that you aren't seeing any effects, give this a try. You may have non-fungal scalp buildup that salicylic acid will do a lot to help clear.

    I've been using this shampoo for a month. I haven't seen any difference. I still have a lot of dandruff. My hair started thinning. I have bald spots where im losing a lot of hair. And this is the only product I've been using new to my routine.
