This original mix is where our Krusteaz name ("crust-ease") came from, after all! So to prepare it, all you have to do is heat your oven to 450°F, stir together the pie crust mix and cold water and mix, shape and/or flatten and fold the dough, then bake as directed! great crust but make sure to follow directions
Thos is a great pie crust but you need to bakr it 10 min by itself before adding ingredients if you are experiencing a gooey crust. pecan pies and custards especially prebake the crusy before adding filling. Also dont leave crust out in ball form for too long. If you do place in the refrigerator for 10-15 min and rechill before you attempt to roll out and do not grease the pie pans if you do it will come ouy soggy most of the time. hope this helps

When I'm not crunched for time I will use this pie crust for my pies, especially on Thanksgiving. The crust is super easy to make and is nice and flakey after baked. Easily rolled and formed once made into dough. Inexpensive and I would buy again.

I will probably buy this product from here on out when I make a pie. It saves me a lot of time. The dough has such a great texture which makes it easier to roll out. It is a plain pie crust so if you are use to a sweet crust you might need to adjust it. It gets brown fast so you might need to blind bake the bottom....but other than that it's overall a great product. Krusteaz Pie Crust Mix 20 Oz Box
