Nice tingle, at a cost
Gave me chronic dry and flaked lips to the point I’m having to peel off chunks and my lips look scarred. Because of the nice balm-y feel I kept using to help protect my lips because I thought I wasn’t drinking enough water. But I’m heavy on the water and the problem only got worse. There’s nothing I hate more than buying something I can’t use all the way. I have no clue what to do with this. All I know is I’ve never been happy with an ELF lip product.

We said, it’s just “OK.” But I am writing this review now because I’ve noticed this is really drying. I’m not sure I can continue using it. I need something that moisturizes the lips during winter.

Sticky, Gross Smell, Non-retractable.
This formula is just not great. It's too buttery in that the lipstick smooshes down when you try to apply it. And it's SO sticky on your lips, so it shows whenever you close and open your mouth (those little strings of sticky product). The scent is also not good. It's not super strong, but it just smells like it's expired. Additionally, I'm not a fan of the clicking feature, because it doesn't allow you to retract the lipstick, so if you push it up too far, you're just out of luck. Plus, it's kind of annoying and loud to have to click it a bunch of times to just get the product started. This is a flop for me. I'm returning it.

Good as a gloss, but not a plumper
It’s a good gloss, but not a good lip plumper. It lasts a long time, and I would even say hydrates. However, I notice zero tingles, my lips are the same shade. I did get the clear, but there was no plumpness to irritate my lips. It’s just a weird pen gloss. Gloss was great, not sticky. Plumping was moot. I love ELF, but this was not it.
