Q: Are these cookies good for adding fruit prior to baking. For example If I wanted to add strawberries or blueberries to them would that work? I'm having a cookie decorating party for dinner 3 year olds and wanted a variety of toppings.

  • A: Absolutely! Our Classic Sugar Cookies are perfect for cut out cookies. Simply sprinkle your surface and the rolling pin with flour, roll out, press with favorite cookie cutter and baked at 375 degrees for 5-6 minutes (or until the edges are set and begin to turn golden brown.) Tasty + versatile dough

This dough has a great flavor, but I’ve found it can also work well for frosted cookies, or for snickerdoodles, etc… it’s a powerhouse. And we eat them maybe a little TOO quickly.

When they cool they become super flat. The taste is alright but I feel I've definitely had better. The 1 egg and stick of butter wasn't enough to make the dough, had to add a splash of milk because it was still powder. I don't feel that should bave made them so flat? Either way won't be getting again.

Best "homemade" cookies ever!

These cookies are the best! Easy to make and taste just like my moms sugar cookies I had growing up. Soft and chewy rich and delicious! The sugar cookie base has so many fun possibilities too! I've made ice cream sandwiches for birthday parties, and also smooshed in a mini reeses cup for a peanut butter fantasy cookie!

Perfect cookie does exist!

As if the sugar cookie by itself isn't already perfect, with the slightly crunchy exterior and buttery texture inside, it's easy to elevate with different mix-ins like freeze dried strawberry pieces!
