A Game-Changer (Almost!) for Scalp Health "" But Needs a Dur
The Ethique Scalp Health shampoo bar has been an absolute revelation for my hair. After years of trying countless liquid shampoos and other shampoo bars, this is the **first and only shampoo bar that truly works on my FINE AND THIN hair!** I've genuinely loved the results "" my scalp feels healthier, and my hair looks great. It's been a total game-changer for me. However, I've run into a consistent and frustrating problem: **it becomes mushy in the shower, no matter what I do.** I've tried every trick in the book "" keeping it on a well-draining soap dish, ensuring it gets airflow, even patting it dry after use "" but it still softens significantly. This means it doesn't last as long as I'd hoped, which is a real shame given how much I adore the product itself. Adding to this frustration is the **new shape of the bar.** The previous shape allowed me to easily cut it into smaller pieces, which was my secret weapon for keeping it drier and extending its life. With the new design, that's no longer an option, exacerbating the mushiness issue. Reluctantly, I'm going to have to explore other options and switch to a harder bar, perhaps from brands like Humble or Earthling Co., just to get something that lasts longer. My sincere wish is that Ethique could reformulate this fantastic bar to make it just a little bit harder and longer-lasting. If they could crack that, it would truly be the perfect shampoo bar.

Didn't clean hair
My scalp seemed to like this shampoo bar but my hair didn't feel clean at all after using. I do use some product in my hair to define my curls, it felt like I just rinsed my hair with water and my hair was very weighed down after I washed it. I tossed after one use.

I love this shampoo
I love this shampoo. It is reasonably priced and makes my hair feel great. My hair stay clean for a long time and my scalp isn't itchy anymore like it is with other soaps. The smell is pleasant and not over powering.

My hair loves this formulaa
This is my second purchase of the scalp health formula and my hair/scalp has been so satisfied!! I have been trying various brands and types of shampoo bars for several years. Many are not good. Ethique was always in the top 3 brands that actually work/perform well. I'm so glad I decided to re-try Ethique again this year. I first tried the Curl shampoo bar and results were acceptable, but I wondered if I could get better scalp results. So glad I gave Scalp Health a try! I will be buying again and again!

Fixed my scalp
I didn't realize how itchy and flaky I've been in the past. It's nice to be able to use something that isn't sulfur or zinc (which dry me out) and have what seems like a normal scalp. Reduced my scalp breakouts too - I might have been allergic to ingredients in some other shampoos.... And it smells great.

Truly helped my flakey scalp
Helped my flakey scalp!! Use twice per shower with scalp scrub brush, and I can't even remember the last time I had a some flakes. Had tried dandruff shampoo, washing more often, less often, but this is the only thing that helped! Use once per shower now, and it's great. I've had the same bar for over 6 months!

Improvement over old bars
I switched to this one because my hair and scalp have changed postpartum. My scalp is healing after just a few uses. The size and shape of the bare are more manageable than the old bars. I plan to buy this again.

Best Solid Shampoo Brand!
I've been on a journey with trying shampoo and conditioner bars for a while, and Ethique is the absolute best brand I've found so far, especially for places with hard water where I've been living in the Middle East & North Africa. It has helped so much with my hair issues and makes travel super convenient since you don't have to worry about liquid amounts! Would totally recommend.

This bar is one of my favorites. I have a tendency to dry scalp, and this one is gentle enough not to cause more problems with that. It lathers amazingly well. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because it melts quickly.

Better than Heads and Shoulders!
I've been using this shampoo for years after switching from Heads and Shoulders and I will seriously never go back! Not only do I love how eco-friendly it is, but it lasts me longer than a traditional shampoo bottle (I have short hair and it lasts me about a year!) and smells great to boot. Even better, when I first switched over I was shocked to find my scalp felt less itchy for longer. Now years later I barely ever feel an itch at all. Can't recommend this enough!

The itch is gone!
I've been using dandruff shampoo for the longest time. I recently tried a new one and it was better, but still not great. I decided to try Ethique's Scalp Health shampoo bar in a sample size and I really liked it. It removed the oil from my hair and doesn't make it oily faster, stops the itch, and isn't drying. I was worried it wouldn't lather but it lathers really well. Just bought the full size and I love it!

Works wonders!!
I naturally have a dry and itchy scalp, I've tried many different shampoo aimed to help with that issue. Yet, none of them have worked as well as the scalp health shampoo bar. It has helped bring back my wavy hair and keeps my scalp very happy. Also, works great on color treated hair! I would recommend this bar to anyone with scalp issues like dryness. I have been using Ethique shampoo bars for about 2 years now and I am happy I made the switch.

Expected to like it, it changed my life
I have folliculitis that has plagued me before I was even old enough to go to school. I have tried dermatologist prescribed medicine, ointments, special shampoos- everything. Nothing has ever helped. I wanted to get bar shampoo to try and lessen my plastic use. I hoped it would help my scalp not be as dry also, but never dreamed it would helped with my folliculitis. It is almost completely healed! This shampoo has literally changed my life. I have never found anything that has given me even a fraction of relief this shampoo has given me. I have recommended this brand to everyone around me. As long as this formula doesn't get changed, I will be buying this for life!
