Will Dry Your Hair Out!

I never write reviews but I felt I would be doing a disservice if I didn’t warn people. This stuff literally turned my hair into straw. It’s so incredibly drying that it took over a month of expensive products and deep conditioning masks to even remotely get it back to what it was. Do not buy!

Sodium Benzoate w/ Citric Acid Creates Carcinogen

The ingredients contain sodium benzoate and citric acid; when combined creates a carcinogen. Look it up yourself. It’s easy to find. I’ve been using this brand for years until now. I don’t recommend this “clean” brand.

Yes the shampoo smells great but trust me when i say this, IT MAKES YOUR HAIR FALL OUT!! It left my hair smelling nice but I lost so much hair when using this shampoo and so did my husband. I do NOT recommend this shampoo at all.

I’ve been using this for about 2 weeks. You first have to deal with the transition from whatever shampoo you used prior, and then you have to handle the mess your hair ends up a few days after. My hair feels stringy & straw like, and although smells great, feels heavier and harder to manage. I’m sure they have stronger products for my hair but not a fan.

Hair thinning and falling out in chunks

i really liked the raw sugar hair mask so i decided to use the raw sugar shampoo and conditioner too. My hair is usually very thick and long and now i lose CHUNKS of hair and it’s very thin and brittle. Prior to this shampoo i could do days without washing my hair and now it looks oily as soon as it dries.

Never been more greasy

Let me start off by saying I’ve been a long time user of Raw Sugar products and frequently recommend them to friends. But holy moly I have no idea what’s wrong with this specific shampoo formulation. My hairy has never been more greasy nor my scalp more itchy. My hair looks like I’ve gone 3 days without washing in less than 18 hours. And I’ve never had an itchy scalp before this product. Reading the reviews I can see I’m not the only one. I couldn’t even finish the bottle and I’m not one to waste things.
