I love that it has oat enriched ingredients so I know that my baby skin isn’t gonna be harmed leaves my baby skin moisturized and not dried out like most sunscreens.

That alone is a win, cause he normally fights sunscreen. It goes all light, absorbs fast and doesn’t leave a greasy white cast that sunscreen’s are known for. Gentle un sensitive skin and the scent is subtle. We will definitely keep this one in rotation.

They would spend all day outside if they could so knowing that this lotion will protect their tiny little faces from the harsh sun gives me such a peace of mind! The small packaging allows and easy pump allows my four year old to apply it herself every morning! She can even put it on my 1 1/2 year old too! It helps with the small dry patches they get when the air is dry and keeps their little faces hydrated. I couldn’t recommend more!

So I was very excited for a kids face sunblock as I have a preteen (11) who now cares a little more if a white cast is left on his face, if it smells too much like "perfume" or "old bathing suits". My 5 year old actually ended up really enjoying how easy this was to pump into her hand and just look in the mirror. She also really loved the light scent! The low fragrance was also appreciated by the preteen, but he was not a fan of how tough it was to rub in all the way. I tried it on my hand prior to letting them use it and I do under this sentiment. It mostly rubs in, with patience, but there is always a white cast left behind. As a mom, at least I know it's covering! As a user, this was a bummer. We wore it while outside on a picnic today and it was perfectly effective! We all have quite sensitive skin and no one broke out or turned red. I enjoyed how soft and smooth it felt on all of our skin. It has the same subtle, typical fragrance as many Aveeno products. I do wish it were scent-free like so many of their products though. Nice and hygienic pump bottle. Regardless of those minor issues, I am so glad to see something that can help start a seriously important, life-long habit of applying (at minimum) face sunscreen daily. It's also nice to be marketed towards kids with a cute otter cartoon on the front etc. vs. some beauty stores marketing too mature of products to the same demographic of kids and parents. Preteens don't need 11 step skincare, they need this!

My son has extremely fair and sensitive skin and he’s had bad reactions to several big name branded sunscreens recently. Luckily, we found this Aveeno option that has worked great so far. Heading into Spring and Summer, we are very thankful that we’ve found this lotion/sunscreen combo that applies evenly, absorbs quickly, nicely textured, pleasantly scented, and also doesn’t leave a strong residue behind, which is a pet peeve of mine. Nothing is worse than having your kids’ fingerprints all over your house after applying sunscreen. Aveeno almost takes that completely out of the equation. Now my son will be well protected heading into the sunny days of Summer!
