This duo smells so good without an overpowering fake perfumey smell. The shampoo lathers really well and the conditioner was easy tonrinsw out without weighing down ny hair with residue. My hair felt softer, looked smoother and shiner after just a couple uses. I love this duo and recommend them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I was given a sample of the John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Color Vibrancy Shampoo and Conditioner from PINCHme in exchange for an honest review. This review is got the shampoo but I did use the shampoo and conditioner together each time this week. I used to use these back on the day (about 20 years ago) so I was kind of surprised to see how different the formula is. It used to be very dark brown and almost gloopy and would discolor the bottom of my shower. Now it's very smooth, a light tan and slightly pearlescent without a strong smell. I do notice my hair getting oily after about 2 days after shampooing which is a bit faster than what I usually use and it's a little more frizzy as well. But, my hair does look healthy and is still manageable.
