[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This smells SO divine. It’s masculine but feminine. I use it in our walk in closet and it makes everything feel more elevated and luxurious but not overpowering. I don’t like the packaging however. There is a white foam glue strip stuck to the glass canister and it just won’t come off. I already spilled some liquid while trying to peel it off and just gave up. I don’t want to leave it in the living room or powder room because the white foam adhesive makes it look tacky even though the scent is beautiful.

Hard to open
Nothing makes me angrier than when these things are impossible to open. Just make it a screw off top, jeez. After 10 minutes and one broken nail later, I was FINALLY able to open it and it does smell lovely, so worth the battle I suppose.

Worth It
Like the other reviews have noted, the adhesive from the packaging is still stuck to the jar. That’s the only reason for the 4 stars. That’s a pretty first world problem, just don’t display it on that side. Otherwise, this is one of the best reed diffusers I’ve ever gotten. The scent is strong and lovely.

Adhesive and interior seal are terrible design.
I purchased in the store and should have read the reviews online first. The adhesive used to stick the bottle to the packaging is that thick, sticky foam adhesive that won't come off of the bottle. Also, the interior seal is incapable of being removed. I ended up using sharp scissors to cut an X into the seal to insert the reeds.

Remarkably bad
Have to confess that I probably bought this for the pretty bottle than the fragrance. Came here to leave a review and found others beat me to the punch. The white adhesive foam sticker will not come off despite multiple attempts even with an adhesive remover, the stopper is nearly impossible to get out (& just like others, nearly stabbed myself cutting it out) and after all that, the artificial smell is overpowering. Expect more from you, Threshold.

Extremely poor packaging
I should have read reviews before purchasing. The packaging is beyond horrible. The adhesive will not come off the bottle and the stopper is impossible to get out. Totally stabbed myself with a knife trying to get it out. It should be a screw top or at least have a pull tab. While $10 is not a lot - it’s a waste of money on this. At least it smells good. We’ll figure out if the bottom of the barrel reeds will hold any smells

Dont Waste your money..
Smells more like Ginger bread, than what the label describes.. ( Lavender & Oakmoss ) sadly it’s a No for me. Didn’t really throw out much of a scent. The plastic cap was hard to get off.. unless you have tweezers. I wanted to really like it😕

Stopper was a pain to remove
Smells nice, but it took me maybe 10 mins to get the stopper out with a pair of tweezers. And when I did, oil shot out at me. Not worth the hassle trying to wrestle with it just to stick the reeds in. Probably better off trying to cut holes in the stopper.
