Q: I have straight hair and a layered shag style. I need a product to use after blow drying and to use with the curling iron to create curls that will not fall out within a couple of hours. Does this do the job? Only people with straight hair need to reply.

A: Curly hair products focus on moisture and oil for protection, as curly hair is dry. This product may just leave your straight hair looking oily. You'll have more success with a curling mousse and a flexible hold hair spray. Be sure to keep your hair curled (either in rollers or in a curl and secured with a bobby bin) until the hair is cooled. Letting your hair set/cool in the curl first will increase the longevity of the style.

This does work well to refresh curls in the morning and has a really nice scent. I wish it had the added effect of reducing frizz because if it did, it would be the perfect product.

The packing is nice and it smells really good. It does help with curls and the I gradients aren’t bad either. I think my only concern is the texture and it feels like it weights my curls down a bit, but other than that love it

Not the most effective product. I have curly hair and always want that bounce back, and the cuter curls back like after washing day. However, this product does not make my hair come back :(

Disappointed this product made my fine, very curly 3C hair feel sticky and dry. My hair felt like the ends were stuck together and brittle, kinda like hairspray. I also noticed the spray didn’t spray evenly which makes it not very effective. I will be returning this to Target.
Don’t over do it or you will end up crunchy!!!

When we first got this we weren’t too sure how it would work being that it’s a ‘next day’ product. But man they did not disappoint. After using the activator the first day and then wrapping overnight, all she had to do was comb and apply the next day product and got the same exact look!

I wanted to give this product five stars but due to the nozzle, I have to give it 4. The product itself is wonderful. It’s actually better than salon products I have used. it refreshed my curls after sleeping with my CPAP machine all night lol. However, the nozzle just shoots a big stream out in one area of your hair. So I had to spray the product in my hand and then apply it by hand, which I think affected the curls because I had to touch them so much and it made my hand sticky. I’ll plan on buying, a spray bottle at the dollar store or target and putting the product in it. To get a more light and even application.

If u have oily hair and want drier hair perfect for you but if you don't want dry hair and scalp do not use cantu
just wet your hair in while you shower in the morning and throw on some leave-in-conditioner and gel; it works wayy better than this product

The scent is great, but the texture is a bit heavy. The product sprays in a thick manner out of the package and the product does not get evenly dispersed in the hair. The product is relatively effective and it’s a good price and value for 12 ounces, but I’d recommend using half the bottle and filling it with water so that it sprays more evenly. Otherwise, your hair will have too much product in some places, and not enough product in others.

Love this product! Me personally, I'm a coconut girly and this smells just like coconut! It works very well with my hair and I always end up with the best curls in the morning. The packaging is very well and it does very well for it's price!
