Colace Regular Strength Stool Softener 30ct

Colace does not work.

This was recommended during pregnancy because it is gentle. It helps without any cramping.

I was recommended this by a co worker who also happens to be a doctor. I’m currently pregnant and these work miracles. It takes about a day or so to really kick in but once it does it makes the process easy for me.

Exactly as pictured and what the hospital had recommended.

I purchased this to use postpartum and it did it’s job well. I’d recommend this as an essential for any soon-to-be mom.

It didn’t work at all.

This made my stomach cramp really bad. Painful cramping and still didn’t work.

Just buy these if you’re pregnant. Trust me.

Omg se of these reviews are ridiculous. This medication DOES NOT make you go. It is not a stimulant, it is a softener only. People are complaining it didn't make them go. Educated yourselves people. Read labels. Quit giving bad reviews on meds that don't do what they aren't supposed to.

I am writing this review in the hope that it will help you, as it did me. COLASE Regular Strength quite possibly saved my life today. As a member of the Press, I covered San Diego Comic-Con last Wednesday through Sunday. It was a very crowded event. In that time I hardly drank any water and, because I am being extremely careful about COVID, I wore an N95 mask the whole five days when I was away from home, and I did not eat anything. Not surprisingly, by the following Monday morning I had serious constipation — the worst I've ever had in my life (I am 68). I experienced an ever-tightening cycle of no pain, followed suddenly with excruciating bowel pain (with pain in my legs, too). I was absolutely certain that I had a very large-diameter, dry stool, and I could not pass it. After several hours of agony, it became too painful to even try, but the urges kept getting more and more frequent and intense. On Monday and Tuesday, i started to eat lots of high-fiber foods, drank lots of water and took the maximum adult daily dose of three COLACE Regular Strength tablets. At first there were no beneficial results. Instead, I was increasingly experiencing almost unbearable pain. Finally, at about 3:00 PM on Tuesday, when I could not stand the pain any more, could barely walk even just around my bathroom, because of the painful urges, and was reluctantly about to call an ambulance to take me to the hospital emergency room, a huge stool emerged with hardly any additional effort from me. The COLASE had softened it to the point where, assisted by the water and the weight of all the fiber that I had been eating, it could finally make its way out on its own. I'll spare you seeing the photo that I took but it was huge — probably 2-1/2 feet in length and about 2-inches in diameter. COLACE Regular Strength works — albeit slowly. Always drink lots of water, eat high-fiber foods and only consume highly processed foods in moderation. Your health could depend on that.

Provide stool softening without cramps.

Way better than mirolax, easier on the stomach. Good price too.

Okay, so this stuff works for me but unfortunately I get terrible side effects within two hours of taking it. I get shaky and nauseous, I feel like throwing up. My mouth gets dry, these symptoms are not normal for this drug. To be honest I rather be constipated than to go through this nausea again. I am still sick as a write this post. If you are super sensitive to medication like me I would be on guard. I would start off with one and see how you feel. I took two of them and regret it on the plus side at least I could finally go….

The product took a couple of days to work. But definitely works great.

Love that this does not have a stimulant added to it. Works great but a bit spendy.

Didn’t work. Took for 3 days and nothing happened, now I’m backed up worse. I’ve also been drinking over a gallon of water daily.

after i gave birth (december 12) it’s been really hard to use the bathroom because i had to get stitches (vaginally) and i finally tried this after i tried miralax, magnesium citrate, and even castor oil. all of which made me poop but it was hard to come out because it felt like i was ripping. but THIS helped perfectly !!! most definitely softened my stools and is easier for me to use the bathroom.
