No longer original scent! Overpowering new scent
Dawn was the best cleaning product on the market. Then they decided to change the original scent and keep it labeled original scent. I have stopped using it however, my mother out of habit keeps buying it. I get a headache, just walking into the kitchen. This is the right product for you if you like overpowering sickening sense when you’re washing dishes as for me, I now need to find something that cleans as well as Dawn original.

CLOYING NEW SCENT - No more Dawn at my house!
New scent — TOO MUCH! As others have said, the new Dawn scent is overpowering. I can smell it in the next room. I don’t understand why it was changed. I can’t buy Dawn anymore for this reason. It gives me a headache.

New scent is garbage
Went from a household staple to intolerable. New scent smells awful and is harsh on hands. Bring back the old formula!!!! Will be switching brands, this stuff is awful

Used to love Dawn, now hate the new smell
HATE the new smell!! Bring back the old Dawn. It literally smells like the green Palmolive bottle. I don’t went to smell a funky, strong, perfume smell on my newly clean dishes. You wouldn’t put fragrance candles on the dinner table so why smell perfume when washing dishes that you want clean? I dread washing dishes now. Please bring back the old formula!!

Migraine inducing stench
New scent is migraine inducing. Dishes don't need perfume and neither do I. Go back to the original formula. I've got two bottles I can't use. A life time and generations of loyalty down the drain.

Amazing product
Dawn Ulta Dishwashing product not only does an amazing job on everyday dishwashing, but when you have those exceptionally greasy pots and pans, they come clean lickty split with out having to wrestle with other products, like scouring pads to get them clean. BUT and I mean a big BUT this product does an ourstanding job on removing stains from your hard to clean laundry. Just dap a small amount of Dawn Ulta Dish Soap on the stain, rub for a few minutes, toss into the washer and the stain is taken care of. So, for the price of one product you get two little helpers with chores around the house.

Dawn dish detergent
I love my Dawn. I would never use anything else. Dawn is the best product out there to get the grease out of plastic out of your clothes. It is the best I would never ever use anything else. It’s definitely valued for the money. The package tells it all it cleaned the ducks during the oil spill in Louisiana so that lets you know that the value of Dawn is awesome. I would recommend this product.

Bad Scent, Bad Flavor
I bought this over three months ago and I was hoping to get used to the overpowering scent. Unfortunately, it's still terrible after all these months. I have to rewash any plate I want to use, using plain water and significant scrubbing to get the sickly fake sweet smell out of my dishes. If I don't, food tastes like soap and smells like fake flowers. Dawn used to be the best but now it's absolutely gross.

To remove the scent from your dishes, try soaking the items in hot water with some distilled white vinegar added to it, or if they're dishwasher safe, pour some vinegar into the bottom of the dishwasher and directly into the dispenser, then run them through the machine.
