We have three coffee drinkers in the family, and the machine is able to handle all of our needs, from drip coffee, to milk drinks. After about two weeks of dialing in our preferences using the app, we are extremely happy.

Finally got my Espresso machine and I love it!!
After getting very dependent upon hot and cold espresso drinks from Starbucks, I finally bit the bullet and bought myself the Eletta Explore. Still somewhat getting used to the magical things that can be created with it, but I am quite happy with the results! My old k-cup coffees are being replaced with fresh ground coffees and Americanos, and making a macchiato is a button press away. At this point my drinks are predominately LatteCrema hot, but I have been very happy with a cold brew and a couple of cold LatteCrema Cold frothed drinks. I would recommend making syrups yourself from the Starbuck's website as my goto Cinnamon Dolce drinks are a resounding success.

Easy to use and great tasting coffee
If you ever wanted a barista at home by this machine. I am very impressed with the taste. I have never really ordered many latte style drinks at the coffee shop, but flat white is now my favorite. I just hope this machine lasts, because I don’t know what I would do without it now.

Eletta Explore - Starts my day right!
I've been using the Eletta Explore for about a month now. It is just what I was looking for. It makes a large variety of cold and hot coffees and is very easy to use and keep clean. The user interface is great and ensures you don't make any mistakes. It tells you what to do every step of the way. The coffee tastes and the machine is so easy to use, I may never go to a coffee shop again!

I would recommend this machine to anyone who is considering purchasing a high-end super automatic. It stands up to its competition and excels in a few areas. I have replaced my DeLonghi Prima Donna S after 14,000 cups. It was a beast that, in my opinion, wish the Electra Explore could be like,.but plastic has replaced metal. The menu choices are voluminous but in reality there are just small variations on a few themes. User alterations of recipes are good along with the ability to memorize your altered drinks. Cold drinks I have yet to explore as summer is over. Brew times are quick enough except the “pulse” methods, which take forever. The bean hopper is well designed and plenty large. The grinder gives all possible satisfaction as DeLonghi always has. The water reservoir is larger than before so it can last a full day. I wish a fixture for plumbing water to the machine was available. Milk brother is great and thankfully, dishwasher safe. The menu is a little complicated at first but remains a little difficult due to the strange order if the layers. Forget the app. It is there only for the uncontrollable nerdies who will not benefit from it. Kudos to the fact that it is WiFi and not Bluetooth. Taste: very good with the water heat at the highest setting. Espresso is creamy with great aroma. Milk drinks are better than other brands but never as good as a manual wand. But after all, we buy super automatic machines because we want one-button instant gratification without pretending the be a Barista/Engineer. I really want to be able to have the drink volume capable of being larger for some drinks. The software allows one to modify the size of the drink but increases the quantity by adding water only. Larger size means more watered down. The Electra Explore delivers most everything to be enough for most people. If you think not, wait until the flagship is offered in countries other than UK and AUS. But it will be costly.

Amazing machine!
My wife had been searching for an espresso machine for a while and settled on this one. We watched countless videos and read countless reviews. This machine is fantastic, the automation is easy and user friendly. The initial setup was fast and easy. The coffee tastes great from it, we've made over 100 drinks using it( we have 5 adults in the house). We've used several different types of beans in it and the quality is consistently good, the taste of the drinks are exceptional. We are very happy with our purchase and definitely recommend the machine. My wife says it makes some of the cappuccinos she's had, me on the other hand enjoy the long or doppios. Our adults children like to use it and make flavored macchiatos. The machine is very intuitive and gives you reminders to clean the tray out where the coffee pucks go and also the drip tray. The design is very nice and fits perfectly under our top cupboards in our kitchen.

Bad grinder
We received our machine about 3 weeks ago. It makes the best espresso and latte. Unfortunately it broke a few days ago when the grinder stopped grinding. It will be sent back today and take 3 weeks to get back. We're hoping it does work well when it's returned. Disappointed so far in the craftsman who assembled and quality control for allowing this machine to ship.

I’m delighted we purchased this machine. The functions are easy to use. The choices are extensive. The machine is much quieter than our last super automatic. The coffee is delicious and milk drinks are as good as dessert. Don’t hesitate to purchase if it’s in your price range.

Fantastic upgrade from the Keurig
We upgraded from a Keurig with integrated milk frother we'd had for years to the Eletta Explore Espresso Machine and it has brought our family so much joy! We love both the hot and cold milk frothing ability and every cup is fantastic. It's also really easy to maintain and keep clean.

I LOVE THIS MACHINE!!! I had a DeLonghi Magnifica prior to this Explore. I really like it, but one of our sons expressed interest in getting one, so I gave him mine (good excuse to get the latest incarnation DeLonghi!). I cant start my day without my lattes! And this superb machine makes ... yup: superb lattes! It also does the same for espressos and a wealth of both hot, and cold, drinks. All espresso machines require basic cleaning, and this is to be understood by any prospective buyer of any espresso machine. This is a tiny "price" to pay for barista level coffee at home anytime the mood hits, right? Did I say LOVE? :-)

Coming from Jura E8, I like it a lot I have it for 6 months now. I would give it 5 stars if: ~The water could have hotter temperatures, so the flavor of the coffee would be stronger. ~The app is almost worthless you can't even connect with the machine. ~The cold brew and the intensity and size control functions could be better [ex: if you want to stop the coffee or milk extraction at a certain time to adjust the intensity as you would like it]

Great Machine overall but repair is a hassle.
I loved my Espresso Machine... until the grinder stopped working after 6 months. It sounds like it's trying to grind metal. When emptying the beans out, part of a screw fell out. Luckily, it is under warranty so they will repair. Unfortunately, you have to ship it back to them for them to repair & return. So, keep a backup coffee pot because we had to buy another one to use for the 2-3 weeks that we will be without our machine. Definitely got spoiled to the great coffee/espresso I was getting from this one so I'm anxious to get it back. Overall, I'm happy with it & would but it again, just disappointed that it's a hassle to repair....and hopeful that it won't break again in another 6 months after the warranty has expired.

So Glad I Finally Took Decided
This is my third super automatic espresso machine and is easily the best yet. I spent weeks researching what to buy and had whittled it down to a three, but a 4th of July 25% off sale tipped me to buy the DeLonghi Eletta Explore. I couldn't be happier. Both my wife and I have automized our morning cappuccino to our exact standards and it is so much easier than our previous two machines or our back up when traveling of using a Nespresso and a separate frother. I have also enjoyed trying new drinks and especially like the cold brew and cold foam choices.
