A: Hello, CARE AND MAINTENANCE WARNING: ALWAYS DISCONNECT THE HEATING PAD FROM THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET AFTER USE. ALWAYS DISCONNECT THE POWER CORD FROM THE HEATING PAD BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO CLEAN IT. CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS: Remove the fabric cover and foam insert from the PVC pad. PVC PAD - Wipe the PVC pad with damp cloth as needed. DO NOT IMMERSE IN WATER. DO NOT GET THE PLUG OR CORD WET. Hang dry only. FABRIC COVER - Machine wash (or hand wash) the fabric cover in cool water using a mild detergent on the gentle/delicate cycle. Lay flat or hang dry. DO NOT MACHINE DRY. FOAM INSERT - Hand wash the foam insert using a mild detergent and cool water only. Lay flat or hang dry. DO NOT MACHINE DRY. NOTE: DO NOT REASSEMBLE THE HEATING PAD COMPONENTS UNTIL EVERYTHING IS COMPLETELY DRY. GENLTY FOLD THE PAD FOR STORAGE TO AVOID POTENTIAL CRACKS IN THE PVC PAD.
