    I made my first pour

    I made my first pour over with the kettle this morning and was very impressed by how smoothly it pours. The kettle is well-balanced weight-wise which makes it very easy to control the pour. And it looks great! Highly recommend.

    The kettle itself is fine,

    The kettle itself is fine, especially since I figured out the controls. The software is not up to par, however. There’s conflicting information in the instructions about which app to use, and the firmware update is extremely glitchy. I was very close to returning the kettle, as I feel that such an expensive appliance should come with good software support. Now I’ve decided to ignore the software and just use the kettle as is. It seems to hold the desired temperature well and has an adequately engineered spout.

    I always use this when making matcha. It’s very easy to pour exactly 40 grams of water, and I found the scale to be accurate every time I tested it myself. I also love the color and design—they’re both beautiful. I highly recommend it. 10/10! 💚🍵

    Aesthetically very nice. The kettle doesn't seat fully on the base and stay stable as much as with other similar kettle I have owned/used. The interface is not as intuitive as I would like. It's fairly noisy. I did not appreciate I would have to apply mineral oil monthly to the wood bits on the Studio version or I would have opted for a Pro w/o the Studio upgrade. Nice to look at but I own more user friendly kettle that cost me a fraction.

    Best a kettle can be

    All materials feel super premium and a very nice upgrade to a standard kettle. Yes, it’s a bit over the top to boil water, but if you’ve been making pour over every day for years like me, it’s worth the upgrade. Love having the water ready at 205F every morning for me.

    Love the kettle. Most favorite thing besides design and material is how fast it heats to the set temp. Only improvement could be the placement of the power knob, occasionally when I set the kettle back to base it accidentally touches the power button and turns off the power which I did not intend. I think a two tap power off feature would eliminate that problem. The button is so tall it's hard not to hit. Thanks!

    The kettle is expensive, but it looks elegant and does everything I wanted it to do. So it is worth the money. I bought it for the precise control of the water temperature for brewing Japanese teas. It is working well and I am pleased with the purchase. I have not used it for coffee, but I am sure it would work just as well for that.

    Looks sleek. Easy to use requiring to push the button to turn off since it stays on for awhile if not. Moderately loud when boiling water. The gasket on lid can get loose sometimes. The interior base at the bottom is not flush so water can get trapped
