    Expectation are High

    I just received my PowerMax Blender today and haven't had the opportunity to use it yet. However, for over 50 years I have been using Hamilton Beach appliances and not been disappointed. My expectations are Super high but I know that it will exceed my expectation.

    Not the best cutting assembly

    It was fine for a few weeks, then the blender started getting loud. The louder the faster the speed.

    seems sturdy enough to last awhile but not as powerfull as expected, and super loud. My last 1500 watt blender by a brand called "universal" seemed a bit more powerfull, but they would not sell me a replacement jar.

    Stay Away From This Blender

    I bought this blender and it lasted less than a year before the screw on area at the bottom of the jar that sits on the base started to rust and leak. I thought it was just that I got a faulty blender and so because I liked how powerful it was, I took a chance buying another one. That one did not even last six months before the same thing started happening. This blender is overpriced junk. Plain and simple. I am so so disappointed.

    Good Blender for Smoothie

    This is good blender. Since my old blender has broken, I decided to get one with glass pitcher rather than plastic. So far I have only use it to make smoothie.

    Power max

    Sturdy product, good parts on this blender and powerful motor, so far this has been solid. The blender base or chopper for some reason the bearings have sized up so need an replacement, other than that I am happy with this product.

    Happy with my purchase

    Great blender! I was hesitant since I saw reviews where it started smoking but it hasn't happened to me. Then again, I use it and turn it off. It doesn't need to run very long to do its job.

    Disappointed

    Within 6 months has stopped working. I have used this about 5 times per week to make simple smoothies using just protein powder & frozen berries and that is it! No tough vegetables, soup pureeing or anything and it just stopped working. Just read over the 3 yr limited warranty Hamilton Beach requires you to return it to them at your own expense. Not happy.
