I love this game the reason for my bad review is the store I got it from was terrible took over a few hours to have my order ready and the service was bad !! the manager was racist and the employees were rude never buy nothing online from 11253 pembroke target.

Great game to play with or without expansion packs. Easy for all ages to understand and will last for generations. Packaging is easily identified as it keeps to the classic design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought Monopoly was just a fun little board game about buying properties, bankrupting loved ones, and slowly losing the will to live over 4-6 business hours. I had no idea it would double as a psychological thriller when played with my in-laws—who, as it turns out, are rampant Tories. From the moment we opened the box, I knew I was in trouble. My father-in-law immediately bought Mayfair and started calling it “a solid long-term investment opportunity,” while my mother-in-law privatized the Water Works and tried to sell shares in it. At one point, my brother-in-law referred to the Free Parking space as “socialist nonsense” and tried to introduce a toll system. Every rule was bent with Thatcher-esque efficiency. The rich got richer, the poor (me) got lectures about “pulling myself up by my bootstraps,” and when I finally landed in jail, everyone nodded approvingly and said, “That’s what happens when you don’t contribute to society.” By the end, I wasn’t sure if I’d lost a game or accidentally voted for austerity. Would I recommend Monopoly? Sure—if you enjoy economic despair, class warfare, and watching your in-laws reveal their inner Priti Patel. Next time, we’re playing Uno. At least then I can reverse the damage.

This edition has some extras such as a tray for storing the bits and pieces of the game so it stays organised and you’re less likely to lose parts which makes it very convenient and easy to store. The pieces of the game are bigger than before too which makes it easier to handle and play with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve enjoyed playing Monopoly since being a kid, and I love the fact my children are now old enough to play with me. It’s a simple concept- players buy, sell and trade to win. I particularly like it when we end up in bidding wars when properties become available at auction. If you own all properties on a street you can buy houses and hotels. It can be played by 2 to 6 players.

Neither of us had played monopoly since we were kids, so it was fun to learn all over again and relive childhood memories of our older siblings ruthlessly beating us. There were a few new games pieces that I didn't remember as a child, but everything else seemed the same. We had a few drinks and spent hours playing. As you can see, we successfully made it through to completion (which was both of our first time) after my fiancé was forced to mortgage all of his properties and went bankrupt! It was a blast and we will definitely play again with more friends!

The tokens are super impressive and have a nice heavy feel to them. They are a bit more updated and it's great. The directions are so easy to use. It spells the game out in easy to understand wording. T It even has diagrams on how to set the organization tray up properly. It makes storing money easier than it being all over the place when you open the box! I love the classic board game feel with an updated face!

We can spend hours laughing, scheming and having a fun family game night. In this version, the pieces are a bit larger- easier for younger hands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the classic monopoly game with a few upgrades. The tokens, houses and hotels are now slightly bigger for easier handling which was nice. I also liked the trade it came with. It makes it really easy to keep everything organized during the game and also it makes it easy to store. Now when it comes to the game quality I have to say it has greatly decreased. Everything feels really cheap. When I was opening the board part of it started ripping so I would suggest tapping all the creases right away to protect the board from breaking. The box itself was already peeling off at the corners just from moving it around and storing it. So I don't see it lasting long unless we also tape it down or something.
