Hoover ONEPWR Emerge Cordless Stick Vacuum BH53605V: Lightweight, Bagless, Pet Hair, Multi-Surface, 45 Min Run Time

I loved this vacuum. 2 batteries, one on the charger, one on the vacuum. Lots of power to clean up, gets into the baseboard corners, does carpet well, bare floors, pet hair, even small rocks in the foyer. However, the hose in the power head has split. Now if I tip the stick vacuum back more than 15-20 degrees the hose opens up and voids all of the excellent suction this vacuum has. I am here on the website to look for a solution, repair or replacement but I cannot find my model number on the website search. It’s too bad because this is the perfect vacuum for our situation. I hope to resolve this and not be forced to buy a new unit.

Bought this a few months ago, and noticed that the hose (as others have stated) has split in two. I was looking for replacement parts and wasn't able to find any. Will be avoiding Hoover products in the future.

I bought this around November, it has been 8 months I love the vacuum it works great! But it does have a problem. The spinning side of the beater bar, can get full of hair and can start to melt because of the friction of the hair that is in between the part that spins the beater bar and the barring for the drive belt.You easily fix it yourself but you do have to take it apart. This has also happened on my other Hoover vacuum.

Worked great at first but now I realized how incorrect I was. I've had this for a little over a year now and I've already had to replace the base because the plastic cracked. The suction is not good. I vacuum before shampooing my carpet and my carpet shampoo does a 1000% better job than this vacuum. The battery does not last long at all. Maybe 20 minutes. When I contacted the manufacture support for both of these problems, they've sent a replacement for the base but for the battery they did troubleshooting that didn't make sense. Just a very bad expensive machine.

This vacuum started off great. Floors were thoroughly cleaned, no fur left in sight. Over time it became less efficient. It is now at a point that the vacuum won’t run for more than a minute at a time, suction is non-existent. Proper maintenance has been conducted, there are no obstructions, filters are clean and the battery is at full charge. Very disappointed! We haven’t had this vacuum for more than 6 months and already in need of a new one, unless Hoover steps up here I won’t be buying another one of their products.

Worked well i nthe beginning, bought it for lite duties, like cleaning up after dinner etc. I have more powerful vaccum for all our carpet areas. Like many, the hose broke where it bends and now it is useless.. cannot buy a spare head, not going to repair, so now it's off to landfill. There is a reason why Hoover doesn't sell these anymore....

It was a good suction, it only lasted about a year. Not a cheap product to only get 1 year worth of it, won’t buy this brand ever again

Love my new stick vacuum. I keep it in my kitchen and love that there is no cords, easy and quick to use and can even use on my stairs.

I bought this as a give for my relative. A massive disappointment. Straight out of the box it was like it either doesn’t pick anything up at all or it’s trying to inhale the carpet off the floor, no in between. Lately I can’t even get it to pick up hair off the floor. I’ve tried disassembling and reassembling, cleaning out the filter, nothing works. The carpet attachment is also extremely sensitive and will stop rotating if there’s the slightest bump on the carpet. It really only rotates in hardwood.

I loved the vacuum at first, but after I had it for about 10 months the the hose near the base of the vacuum cracked open. So most debris that the vacuum does pickup gets blown out of that crack and it wears the battery down quicker. The only replacement part I can find is on eBay and is used. The seller wants $60 plus shipping for it. I did try taping the crack but that wasn’t successful.

Would not recommend. I’ve had it for 2 years, and it stopped working. Went through the troubleshooting on their website and then with their customer care, still no suction. I’ve sent videos in, now days later they’re asking for more video proof after I showed its clearly not suctioning. If you say you have a warranty, don’t ask for new videos every few days. I will send you what you need, but do it in one go. Now I’ve gone even longer without a vaccuum. Horrible customer service and the warranty is worth nothing if you have to do so much just to prove it’s not working. I’m not sure what else I can do.

It is lightweight, easy to operate and sucks up all the crumbs. My toddler loves to use it, too! We take the middle stick out so it's the right size for him. He empties the dirt cup for me and everything!

Damages too quickly We bought two of the same vacuum and we had the same problem, brush head damages too quickly, I don't recommend

I've owned this vac for 7 months. It's stopped picking up pet hair. I thought this might a clog or dirty filter. No, the hose split about 2/3 of the way open. Customer service has been slow to respond.

OK I have done tons of research and read tons of reviewsof all kinds of different stick vacuums, and I could never decide on which one to invest in. I have my own business that I run out of my basement. I'm a massage therapist and sometimes between clients the floor needs a quick cleanup. I initially wanted to stick vacuum just to do my floors in the basement. I have three dogs and a cat a 12-year-old and a six-year-old so my whole house has pretty high traffic on the day-to-day basis. We've had a cannister vacuum forever and I generally dread the thought of the weekend when it's time to vacuum and mop the floors so my husband will usually do the vacuuming every weekend and I mop the floors. Canadian tire had a sale on the Hoover emerge complete and I decided to take the plunge and take a chance and invest in the stick vacuum. My husband thought I was crazy for spending the money as our canister. Vacuum worked just fine however, this thing is absolutely amazing. I look forward to cleaning every weekend and I don't think twice if I need a quick cleanup to run downstairs and grab it it's light enough. It came with two batteries. I love the stand and I just literally love everything about this product, my husband made a joke and said he has become obsolete because I don't Ask him to vacuum for me anymore. I look forward to vacuuming. I never in a million years thought I would love cleaning my house, but this vacuum makes it so easy. It cleans up the pet hair. I love the light feature that shows me the dust on the floor. It even picks up my cat litter, so easily where my old cannister vacuum would spit things out the back end like salt and dirt. This thing there is no spit back. I cannot stress enough how much I love this new machine. It has been the best investment I made at home And my house has never been cleaner thank you thank you thank you Hoover for this wonderful product. I have been using this product over a month now, and I vacuum more than I ever have before because you have allowed it to not feel like a chore for me. It's not as loud and obnoxious as my old vacuum. I can generally do my whole upper floor. I live in a midsize three bedroom bungalow on one battery charge and when it's time to do the basement when the battery runs out, I switched over to the other one. The convenience is incredible once again, thank you thank you thank you Hoover for making this wonderful product. Will it stand the test of time? Who knows but right now you have one extremely happy customer and I recommend this vacuum to absolutely everyone.

The vacuum is convenient in theory. Cordless so you should be able to quickly zip around and vacuumed when needed. However, the housing on the main stick that comments from the head to the cannister has cracked simply from normal use exactly like in the photographs on this website. The vaccum is no longer usable and it's upsetting as there doesn't even seem to be a way to fix it. It was also a gift so I can't even try to take it back to the store.

I'm not happy w this vacuum at all. It doesn't have the same suction as the blade max+. Battery dies really quickly. I wouldn't get this. Will not service w Hoover is amazing and they try their best
