    We are sorry to hear that you experienced an issue. Please note that the temperature range inside the chiller compartment is between 25 to 36 degree in Fahrenheit. Therefore, it is a soft freezer if the thermostat is set to a lower temperature setting. It will make ice but it's not as effective as a regular deep freezer which maintains the temperature from 5 to 8 degrees in Fahrenheit.
