Refurbished:KitchenAid Variable Speed Corded Hand Blender, KHBV53-Manufacturer Refurbished

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This immersion blender is so convenient to use versus dragging out a blender. I am not disparaging other kitchen tools, it's much easier to grab the immersion blender from a drawer and it doesn't clutter my counter.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I received this handheld a little more than a month ago. All I can say is why did i not realize bout these sooner. It has replaced my blender and my older regular beater. I have used it to finalize mashed potatoes, made cream of potato soup with it, have made cream of vegetable soup with it. It will not quit either. Even my regular blender had issues making some of the soups. And handy?? The unit stores in a drawer and the removeable mixer attachment makes cleanup a breeze. Plus using the variable speeds and being able to go right into the pot I used to cook in....

I needed a replacement for one that broke. This one is basic and perfect for smoothies, blending cake ingredients etc.

We had an immersion blender for the last 10 plus years from the same brand after accidentally trying to mix a smoothie which was our error the old emergent blender became not so functional. Because of our experience we decided to buy the new version of the immersion blender from KitchenAid when we opened it immediately we noticed the quality feel of the product wasn't at the same level it felt more plasticky and less likely to last. The blender itself does a fantastic job blending and mixing The variable speed of the button compression is a very nice feature and I do have to say that the blender itself probably does a better job than the old version of the KitchenAid blender we had. However since having had the blender for the last 3 months I've had two separate occasions where the blender has stopped working completely trying to mix a soup and the online information about the tool suggests that it needs time to cool my experience with the unit has been that it's been unable to function for far longer than his advised for the " cool down " period. I need to find the time to reach out to KitchenAid for a warranty claim as there may be something effective with the unit that we have. All things considered when you buy tools nowadays you don't expect them to last this immersion blender does a fantastic job blending mixing as compared to our older version but the durability of the unit is questionable in my opinion which is disappointing because our kitchen is littered with KitchenAid products that we've been happy with for a long time

Iti s very weak, works for a few seconds and then stops. I regret buying it. It took me almost two hours to blend something that should have taken less than 10 minutes, I ended up using another applicance to complete what I started with this blender. Tired of using it and it is a total waste of money!

It was said to be refurbished but was not. It run for 30 seconds and stopped. It would not run again. Costs as much refurbished as it did new. I I’ll never buy anything refurbished again.

This is a great product! Right up until you try to use the pan guard, which in concept is perfect as well. But the actual design and execution is cheap and it shows. Build a bullet proof one of these, and you've got it!
