I had very dark brown hair with a few blonde highlights. This obviously didn’t change the brown color because it was too dark which I expected, but it turned my blonde pieces an ugly green/grey color. It’s been 3 weeks now and it’s completely faded out of the blonde. Not sure why the color turned out so ugly and why it faded when it supposed to be permanent. This is the second time I’ve tried a color from the Féria line…both were total flops.

Coloring over bleached or very light hair is tricky. To avoid odd, discolored results on the bleached hair or losing the color results, you need to custom mix 2 colors together to get a natural looking result. My mom decided to go with the natural salt & pepper look. Her bottom half was blonde and we went with the Smokey Silver to try to even out the color. We just colored the blonde since she was trying to avoid coloring her hair any longer. Results were pretty decent but note that the color does wash away (blonde was sneaking out after a few washes).

T53 color is the closest to my natural color. I live in a sunny climate. My hair has always had blonde highlights. This color is perfect. It cover my gaying hair. It keeps my hair soft and shiny.
