When you sprinkle Lemi Shine powder on the bottom of your dishwasher, it may seem like it could get washed away immediately, but dishwashers are designed to recirculate the water throughout the wash cycle. Here’s how it works: -Initial water flow: At the start of the cycle, the water fills up and begins to circulate inside the machine, but it doesn’t immediately drain out. -Recirculation: The dishwasher sprays water from its spray arms, and this water is continuously recirculated during the wash cycle. The powder dissolves into this water and is spread across your dishes, helping to combat hard water deposits. -Timing: The powder is meant to be present throughout the washing process rather than during just the pre-rinse, which is why it doesn’t get flushed out right away. This allows the Lemi Shine powder to do its job effectively, even without a dedicated dispenser!

It does it's work, love that you use a citric acid to clean it. So this scent is like a citric. The price is a little bit high for 4 packages. But it helps to clean the dishwasher and make it smell pretty. So I think it is worth it, since you just have to use it once in a while.

The dishwasher didn't have any staining or off-putting scent to begin with. So I honestly didn't notice a difference at all. I wouldn't use it again unless I noted either a scent or stain .

I haven't really had a ton of success in general with dishwashing cleaners, but I also haven't used them too frequently. This product does help with removing some of the buildup, but it isn't a fix-all. It's not a bad product, and it does help get rid of the odor that dishwashers sometimes get, but it's not a miracle product. You'll still need to regularly wipe down or flush the inside of your machine to prevent gunk.

You empty the pouch into the bottom of an EMPTY dishwasher, and run it like you normally would, and voila! Clean!

Lemi Shine is the only dishwasher cleaner I will use. It works great to get rid of build up and preventing my dishwasher from getting a musty smell. I just wish it were easier to find. I used to get a 5 pack and now only finding this 2 pack and rather pricey.

It is packaged nicely and easy to open to sprinkle in your dishwasher. It had a nice scent and was very effective. Left my dirty dishwasher clean and shiny. It recommends to use it once a week. My dishwasher had quite of build up and it cleaned it nicely. I would recommend it and buy it in the future. I would use once in a while when needed a good clean verses once a week based one price for how many you get in package though.
