Q: Can I use this to clean my washing machine? If so, how?

A: You can clean the washing machine by adding a gallon of vinegar and filling to the top. Leave the vinegar water for two days. Use a sponge and a clear fragrance-free dish detergent liquid (the kind used for hand washing; typically Seventh Generation) to scrub the blue gunk with a sponge. Then, use Seventh Generation laundry detergent or another nontoxic, clear, liquid laundry detergent, to prevent any gunk or residue from ever forming again, if you plan to continue using detergents instead of baking soda or other methods. If there is mold in the washing machine, vinegar is likely to get rid of that too, but if it doesn't and if you can see where the mold is, peroxide will always eliminate mold completely by being poured liberally directly on the mold without dilution (behind the 3% which is how it is sold).

A: It claims to have an active ingredient of citric acid. And it actively hides the rest of the ingredients. As such, simply buy regular commercial "lime juice" that will have tons of additional citric acid added, and whatever happens in your dishwasher will be the same as this product - if they are telling the truth about the active ingredient!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product complimentary from influenster and the company itself in exchange for my honest review of it. This took my forever to find. Every time I tried to order it or find it on store it wasn't there. Finally I found it but they sent me the smaller pack 🤣 maybe I'm just really unlucky. Because this stuff is awesome! My dishwasher was so shiny and smelt great. I was worried it wouldn't dissolve properly but it was completely dissolved! If I can find this again I will be stocking up and adding it to my routine.
