Not worth the money
Not very good, very thick on the hair, you will have to wash your hair again after use

Not ready for prime time
Not a flawless product that I'm used to with Madison Reed products. I was disappointed. It covers gray but looks like crunchy hair just in covered spot. It's obvious you didn't something. Looks like too much/obvious hair spray in spot and takes a while to dry. Not for a quick morning routine which is purpose for which I'd use it. Too bad. Great idea but I'd use the powder instead.

Messy
I wanted to like this as I already have the dry root touch up product. But, this is messy, flakes and pulls my hair when I try to apply it to my roots.

Don't waste your money
Since the powder didn't work, I thought I'd give the mascara wand cover up a try, but this is just a huge mess waste of money

Not for me
I didn't like how thick the texture is. I accidentally forgot to take it out of my cart and ordered it again :(

Horrible
I was so excited to see this come out, but I cannot even use it. It goes on thick and is hard to make it look good. It clumps on and leaves a residue on your hair. I even tried taking some of the product off with a tissue before applying and it was still awful.

Wow'
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received The Gray Escape Hair + Brow Mascara by Madison Reed complimentary, and it has truly been a WOW product especially for my mom. She mainly uses it to cover gray hairs along her hairline and brows, and the results are instant and incredibly natural. The formula feels very lightweight once applied. It doesn't make the hair feel stiff, sticky, or heavy at all, which was one of our biggest concerns. It's extremely comfortable to wear throughout the day. There's no crunchiness, no tight feeling, and no irritation she honestly forgets it's even there. The finish is where this product really shines. The gray coverage blends seamlessly into the hairline and brows, with no clumping, no residue, and absolutely no "painted" look. It dries quickly and leaves a soft, natural finish that makes grays practically disappear. This is a great value for how well it works. It's perfect for quick touch-ups between salon visits and delivers salon-like results in minutes. The packaging is sleek, compact, and very easy to use. The brush allows for precise application, especially around the hairline, making it simple and mess-free. Overall, this is an excellent solution for natural-looking gray coverage. We're both very impressed and would absolutely recommend it.

I like it for my brows
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an interesting product, sort of like mascara for your roots. It offers pretty good gray coverage, but can be a little tricky to use. I find using a light hand when applying, allowing it to dry thoroughly and then brushing through gave me the best results. Where I really liked using the product was on my brows. It added a nice tint and a bit of hold. Once again, use a light hand so it doesn't look too caked on.

Cover gray nicely
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's convenient to used. The application is simple and similar to brush wand like mascara. Color light/ medium brown match my hair perfectly. It a bit sticky but since my gray is on top so, it doesn't bother me. Might work well for holding the frizzy hair or tame it down to stay in place.

Wonderful applicator with covering Grays
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Madison Reed the gray escape light brown color wheelie works beautifully to help cover up my grace. Super easy to use and I love that the results are immediate. I'll be using this for years to come to cover up my grays!

Not something I would add to my routine.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I mean it does what it says. It takes the grey out of your brows temporarily. It's not a product I would reach for, the formula is not one I like. If it were waterproof or held my brows in place maybe, but it does neither thing. It just colors my brows till I sweat washes off with water so easy removal.

Its a versatile hair mascara
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received this hair mascara recently and am enjoying it. Its a little light for my hair but you can use it on your eyebrows. It matches my brows pretty good. Its a light texture that doesn't get stiff. It lasted all day. Im glad it doesn't have any noticeable fragrance. Its a good product for the price. I would get it again.

Great for graying eyebrows!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a The Gray Escape in Light Brown from Madison Reed and Influenster for my honest review. Love the packaging. It is a little bit bigger tube than my mascaras and the writing is large enough print that I can read it without glasses. The brush is stiff with short stiff bristles to insure enough product gets on fine hairs. However, be careful as it does grab fine hair. I tried The Gray Escape first on my hair. While it did cover the grays some, I feel it would be better if it was a heavier root only after permanent color application. I use semipermanent so it didn't blend well unless I applied root to end. Also, even after drying a lot of the product came out and was flaky when combing/brushing. The product itself is a bit dry. When using this on my eyebrows I was very impressed. I did not need a heavy application and just one coat. I would buy The Gray Escape for my eyebrows alone. This product also washes out easily with any of my regular cleansers. I would purchase this myself.

Hair dye
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I couldn't use this product because it was too light for my hair so I gave it to my daughter. It worked really well for her hair and it lasted quite a while, it's easy to apply and has the perfect quantity

Extra highlights!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The color didn't match my hair exactly, but it blended very well. Even though it was slightly different, I was able to use that to my advantage and make the overall look appear more highlighted and dimensional. It can be a bit tricky to work with curly hair, which was a little annoying during application, but once it was on, I was happy with the result.
