Makeup Revolution Correct & Fix Colour Correct Primer - 0.5 fl oz

I didn’t expect much because my face has A LOT of redness on my cheeks and nose. But WOW. I kind of blotted it on and blended it out to get a good lay down of it and I’m thoroughly impressed!

This works! Definitely be prepared to say goodbye to redness, but make sure to not use too much because it will leave you with a green undertone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Makes red spots look a little more dull. It does seem to disappear as you blend and it could be more hydrating. Works well when mixed with concealer or another primer.

Works like a charm, I have tried to find something that covered my red so I didn't need a full coverage foundation and I finally found it! I use this with a tinted serum and my face looks even and natural. I have rosacea so my face is very red and it works great!

idk i feel like it doesn't really do a lot. it does a little bit but not mucho.

I have combination skin with a very oily T-Zone but patches of flaky dehydrated skin all over. This clung to my dry patches like CRAZY, made the rest of my liquid base pill up and most importantly for me eventuated my acne instead of covering it. Yes, redness is reduced significantly, but unless you’re wearing this with nothing else and have very hydrated skin, it won’t work for you. The only way I can use this product is on my cheeks (which are constantly flushed) and not layering anything except translucent powder on top. Disappointed tbh.

Hides all my redness from rosacea and feels so light on my skin. Perfect for a no makeup day… even though I know this is makeup. 😜

This is an okay primer. I couldn’t really tell if it helped with my redness and I wonder if it made my pores even more noticeable.. it worked well with the application of makeup but didn’t do what I thought it would.

This might be a good primer I don’t know I used once and never again. Does nothing for my redness so waste of money.

My skin has been changing as I get older, and where I used to be able to just bash on some foundation, I've been struggling for the past couple of years with products grabbing and caking on hidden flakes of skin, no matter how hard I try to be optimally moisturized and exfoliated first. My skin is pale and has lots of blotches from old blemishes, and it's been very frustrating feeling like I have to choose between looking blotchy and looking cakey. I've mainly been trying products at drug store price point, but I have tried several primers and foundations specifically designed for dry or aging skin. I wouldn't go so far as to say none of them did anything, but they weren't... trustworthy? It was so frustrating to be in suspense every time I did my makeup, waiting to see if it would be fine or mysteriously bad. I have avoided buying green color correctors most of my adult life, even though I have significant redness, because I was worried red + green = grey and dull. I can't remember why I finally decided to pick up a color corrector after all, but I didn't even realize when I randomly picked this one up that it also serves as primer. I was completely taken aback when this turned out to be the mvp of my makeup routine, against all odds! It's very lightweight and silky and doesn't grab flakes of skin. It does not gray out my skin. I could almost wear just this as my foundation. Frankly, since I have to limit myself to a sheer dewy BB cream to avoid caking, I get more coverage out of this primer/corrector than I do from my "foundation" layer. Most days I layer Revolution Colour Correct, L'Oreal Age Perfect Primer, Maybelline BB Fresh, and Mac Fix + Stay Over, and I'm finally getting reliable results. Recently, I've been experimenting with skipping the L'Oreal primer on hotter days, since fewer layers seem to do better when I sweat, and the Revolution Colour Correct has been adequate as a standalone primer. I am by no means highly skilled at make up and I can't promise that customers with more refined expertise will be as impressed with this product as I am. But I sure have been TRYING SO HARD to nail down a makeup routine that works for me and have been extremely disappointed when product after recommended product is just no help. This *really* helped! It's made all the difference - for me. I really hope RCC continues to exist and be freely available for a long time to come, because as of this moment, I'd be lost without it.

It really does not do any kind of prime/ correction.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] it makes my foundation look more even and full coverage as there’s no redness peaking through, if you want a stronger hold throughout the day i’d suggest using a stronger primer over the top but it does wear well! super good and makes my skin look healthy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never used a primer but wow ! Having changed my skin care to start looking after my skin more I am amazed at this product. I apply before foundation and it really does help foundation to look more smooth . Will be purchasing again however it’s a big tube and you don’t need much for the coverage so it may be a few months before I have to replace

Such a good base and it’s perfect for taking the red colours out of your skin. Such a flawless appearance.
