It goes on like a light gel and feels super refreshing. My skin drinks it up. It gives a nice dewy finish and helps my makeup stay put through the day. The texture is a bit tacky at first, which I think helps with the grip, but it settles down after a minute. If you have dry or combo skin, this is a solid pick. Just give it a sec to set before layering anything on top.
