  • A: Licensed esthetician here. If she is acne prone, I wouldn’t recommend this product. I would recommend a lightweight non oil based this one contains mineral oil which is a clogging ingredient active moist from Dermalogica is a great choice

    An old favorite

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Incredibly hydrating and thick but in the best way, this is a perfect overnight moisturizer. I wake up and my skin is still nice and hydrated from the night before my grandmother used ponds a long time ago, and I could see why it is still a gem now there is no sun and it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. I love the packaging. It’s simple and looks beautiful on my vanity. When this jar is gone I am absolutely repurchasing.

    A small amount goes a long way

It goes on easily but you need just a small amount and it goes a long way! There is a scent so if you are sensitive I wouldn’t recommend it. I enjoyed it.

    Good Moisturizer but strong scent

My skin is very dry and I really appreciate the way this face cream lives my skin looking supple and soft. It has the classic ponds cream scent that I grew up smelling when my mom used it, and she still does!! This cream is hypoallergenic, and suitable for sensitive skin. Will not clog pores. It significantly reduces dryness. Use up to twice a day on face and neck.

    STILL A CLASSIC!

    I have used so many different types and Brands of skin care products, from high end to drugstore. I currently have a couple skincare libes I am using, but I keep Ponds in my routine to mix it up or use over serums.

It definitely moisturized and left my face feeling fresh without any sticky residue. It absorbed nicely and didn’t leave my face looking oily. The scent had a heavy baby powder smell and was a bit strong for me but I did not find that it lingered for very long.

    Strong smell

It smells like baby powder. Maybe you like that smell, but I do not. I’m kind of sensitive to fragrance in my products. I didn’t use this a whole lot because of the smell, so I can’t speak to the effectiveness of it as well as someone who isn’t as bothered by the smell. I probably would not recommend this to a friend.
