A: ACT Rinse / Mouthwash, while the label states it contains “Benzyl Alcohol”, doesn’t contain “Alcohol” as defined by the US Food and Drug Administration and therefore the label correctly states “alcohol free”. The term alcohol used for labeling of foods, drugs and cosmetics in the United States pertains to ethanol or ethyl alcohol. The Benzyl Alcohol in our ACT Rinse / Mouthwash products is in the product in a very small percentage and is used as a preservative for the product (such as certain ingredients added to foods to keep them from spoiling – BHT in bread for instance) and has very different properties than Ethyl Alcohol.

Clean and fresh!
I love ACT. It has a nice taste and leaves my mouth feeling fresh and clean. The bottle is huge and is the price is fair. I always recommend it when people ask what mouth wash to use.

Worth the price
So far so good, I don’t have the best healthy teeth and my dentist recommended this brand. The other brands had cases of staining and in this economy I don’t have the money for that. I floss, brush then use this and it doesn’t burn or anything. Also I have receding gums, 10/10 for now.

This is a pretty good anticavity mouthwash. Me personally I don’t rinse after brushing so I don’t use mouthwash anymore. This has a good flavor and a budget friendly price. Overall pretty good.

A Little Goes a Long Way
I purchased this mouth wash after reading about pH levels and how they can affect your teeth - not sure how true this is, but I did notice when using another brand with a higher pH level, my teeth were feeling a little sore and unhappy afterwards. After using this mouth wash, I do not get that feeling whatsoever. The "burn" is very mild, the taste is fine, and you don't need a lot of it to get the job done. The cap comes with a measurement on the inside to show you how much you need with each rinse. It is a little more in price than other mouth washes, but I'm fine with that if it doesn't make my teeth hurt.

My kids and I really like using this Mouthwash. It keeps our breath fresh and is very long-lasting. The cool mint flavor is not to overpowering, but it is powerful enough to keep out mouths clean and fresh. This brand is not only what my kids and I prefer but its #1 dentist recommended. Were about out of this bottle so I will be purchasing this again very soon. We highly recommend!
