Great item. I don't use it for baking, but it works great for seasoning a cast iron skilet and the grates on my bbq grill. Rub Crisco in the grill grates to prevent rust when the grill is not used for for a few weeks or more.

Kitchen Necessity!
I have used this product in my kitchen for over half a century! I never want to be without it. It has many uses, but the main one for me is greasing pans for baking. Nothing works as well for me.

Perfect size for seasoning cast iron
Previously the only crisco I could find were the big 48 oz jars of the stuff. Often times the fan would go bad before I could go through it all. This 16 oz can is perfect and I’ll bet I’ll go through it re: seasoning cast iron before it expires.
