Customer for life!

Causes severe vomiting!
Have used twice, and both times within half an hour I go from feeling fine to severe stomach pain and vomiting. Fortunately, after it's all vomited up, I feel pretty normal again. That's not exactly the way I hoped to avoid lactose intolerance, as just not eating milk products to begin with is much less painful. The one and ONLY reason I would use these pills is if syrup of ipecac is not available, and I need to vomit. It's a sure thing for me (and apparently many others), and this might actually work quicker! Not having a warning label on this product is truly inviting a class action situation. You guys are WELL AWARE of this problem by now.

I’ve been lactose intolerant for years and always had to avoid my favorite treats like ice cream, cheese, and milk-based dishes. Ever since I started using Lactaid Fast Act, it’s been a game changer. I just take one right before my first bite, and I can enjoy dairy again without the awful bloating, gas, or stomach discomfort afterward. The packaging is super convenient—especially the individually wrapped tablets. I keep a few in my purse, car, and even my kitchen drawer. No more guessing or skipping out on dessert! The taste is totally neutral—no weird aftertaste or chalkiness. You can swallow them easily, and they don’t leave any lingering flavor, which is a big plus for me. Also, the value is great! Horrible adverse reaction
I bought this 2 days ago and took 2 tabs around 4p to have with ice cream. I woke the next morning with a splitting headache, dry mouth/swollen salivary duct under the tongue, severe nausea and vomiting (dry heaving). The headache and nausea/vomiting were so severe I couldn’t not keep down water nor sit or stand. I had to miss work and “doze” all day bc of the pain and discomfort. Able to drink sips of water that night. Next morning feeling generally unwell but able to keep down water, broth, rice crackers etc. Product not recommended. Take with extreme caution.

WARNING: SEVERE VOMITING/DIARRHEA POTENTIAL
Note: I am writing this from bed. My work day shot. I wish I could select zero stars. My first, and now only, Lactaid chewable tablet, and had violent vomiting and diarrhea, the reaction so intense, it was as if my body was trying to expell poison. I am NOT exaggerating here. Four bouts, then utter exhaustion, body freezing, like I was in shock. Couldnt stomach even water for a few hours afterward. What a nightmare. Will never take Lactaid again. I wish I had known by packaging of this reaction. I would have never bought and risked.

I have been using Lactaid fast act pills since I’ve been in college. I was diagnosed with lactose intolerance when I was first year college student. I was suffering greatly even with nonfat milk so after finding these caplets, I was able to drink nondairy milk again. These are my go to and my lifeline so that I can enjoy a little bit of dairy in my life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There needs to be a warning label on this product. This product dose the exact opposite of what it says. This product made me very ill for about a week until I stopped and realized it was the source of making me sick. Dealt with severe stomach pains & nausea. Never again will spend another dime on any lactaid product. As I believe this is false advertising for not including a warning label and warning others on the true side effects that they will experience.

Life Changing Product
I randomly became lactose intolerant 10 years ago, but it wasn't until 9 years ago when I discovered the Lactaid brand. This brand, and these caplets especially, let me enjoy all of the things I thought I had to give up eating! Now meals with friends and family always lead with the question "do you have your Lactaid?”

Works Well, Can Take at Any Time
These work well for me. I don't have a severe intolerance so keep that in mind, but I find this definitely helps when consuming dairy. The biggest bonus is that you can take it at any time. I also use charcoal pills and they work better than these do, but there are so many parameters with charcoal (hours away from other medication being the biggest problem for me), that a second option like this is great. Thrilled that these are pills to swallow, it seems the chewable is more readily available near me.

Made me horribly sick
I don't know if it's just the Fast Act lactaid or what, but every single time I take one, I get severe upper stomach pains, like doubled over ready to cry pain... And really really bad nausea. Not sure why. But I'm done with these. I'd rather have the diarrhea.

Severe stomach pain and vomiting
Within 5-10 mins of taking this, my stomach wasn’t feeling well. I started to get severe stomach pain and felt very nauseous. Soon after, I started vomiting. I still feel nauseas and still have bad stomach pain. I do not recommend this!
