Description

Caltrate 600+D3 Calcium and Vitamin D Supplement Tablets offer the highest level of vitamin D3 (1) to help maximize calcium absorption and support healthy bones, joints and muscles (2) so you can live life to the fullest. Formulated with calcium carbonate—nature's most concentrated form of calcium—Caltrate contains 600 mg of calcium per tablet. Your body needs calcium for more than just strong bones; it also plays a role in supporting your everyday activities like muscle contractions, blood clotting and nerve function. In addition to calcium, your body needs vitamin D to help calcium work for you. Caltrate calcium with vitamin D supplements contain high levels of vitamin D3 to help maximize calcium absorption and maintain healthy bones. (2) Simply take one to two tablets daily with food or as directed by a physician to get the calcium and vitamin D your body needs to support healthy bones and muscles and keep you moving.   • A: Calcium supplements provide elemental calcium. Two forms of elemental calcium are calcium carbonate and calcium citrate. Calcium carbonate is nature's most concentrated form of calcium, and the form of calcium found in most Caltrate products+++. Calcium carbonate yields about twice the amount of elemental calcium as equal amounts of calcium citrate. Calcium carbonate products generally come in a smaller number of tablets than products using calcium citrate because they have a higher concentration of calcium. +++Refers to Calcium Carbonate; Excludes Caltrate Gummy Bites that are made with Tribasic Calcium Phosphate.

NO, PAINFUL, TOXIC POSSIBLE CANCER

pill is very large, hard, if break in half it is sharp: painful to swallow ingredient: "titanium dioxide" "classified as “possible carcinogenic to humans” by the International Agency for Research on Cancer and as occupational carcinogen by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health." "On 25 April 2019 France officially banned the use of titanium dioxide (E 171)" "FDA provides strict guidance on how much can be used in food. " BUT SUPPLEMENTS DO NOT GO THROUGHT THE FDA APPROVAL PROCESS BECAUSE IT IS NOT A "FOOD", SO THEY CAN DO WHATEVER THEY WANT IN THE SUPPLEMENT, AND THEY DID NOT LIST HOW MUCH THEY USED ON THE LABEL!
