Heat protectant
I purchased this heat protectant to use on my daughter hair. She has thick course hair. I used this product when I blew dried her hair and I also used it to flat iron her hair. I was extremely pleased with this product because it helped get her hair straight and sleek and her hair which is natural stayed straight for over two weeks. I will for sure be purchasing this product again in the future.

Unfortunately this left my hair very sticky. I thought it may have been user error and I tried again and sticky again. My daughter tried it and she loved it! I would say hair type is a thing!

I use Cantu Thermal Shield Heat Protectant to protect my hair from damage while dying my hair. It also keeps my hair from frizzing when it's humid. I spray each section of hair with a good amount before drying. Hair is shiny and frizz free when done and it has a pleasant smell.

When I was buying a new curling iron, this product was suggested. I’ve had bad luck in the past with both expensive and budget thermal protectants but knew it was important to have one, so I thought I’d give it a try. It’s the best one I ever used. It actually works, which is great. The smell is sweet but not cloying or overpowering. Working well and tolerable scent were two criteria that I could never achieve with other thermal protectants. And it works well on middle-aged, color-treated, fine/thinning hair. When I use it with a flat iron, it’s an easy shiny finish. When I use it with a curling iron, it’s amazing waves that shine and last a couple of days. Very happy with this add-on purchase, especially for the price.

Straw hair
