Q: Just received as a gift. Changed batteries and tried syncing remote, but it just keeps flashing. Is there something I'm not doing or is it defective?

  • A: You have to place the remote near the racer. When it is a solid red light, it is done syncing together. Even then, the toy might not work.

  • A: The Mario Kart Mini Anti-Gravity R/C Racer requires 8x “AA” Alkaline batteries in total between the remote and racer. Those batteries are to be replaced once depleted. This is not a rechargeable toy.

  • A: It varies depending on the type of battery used on the product. We do not recommend using carbon zinc batteries. With a new set of Alkaline batteries installed, you should expect to get roughly 40 mins of continuous use.

DO NOT BUY 😬

The very FIRST day we bought this for our son, who loves Mario by the way, it already started having issues with the tires like the other reviews say but we didn't listen because our son wanted it really bad. As time went on, it just got worse and after having it for like a few months, it barely moves. It doesn't matter what kind of flooring its on, it moves like half an inch at a time in a jerking motion. The tires also kept turning different ways and at times wouldn't even move when pressing the buttons. It also requires SO many batteries that don't last long so this thing is just a money hog. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

don't buy

one of the screws were stripped out of the box, we added the 8 total batteries as directed (6 in the car, 2in the controller). my child had so much fun for about 15/20 minutes. then it stopped working. battery change and nothing. the light on the remote stayed on even when we turned it off as well. we decided to return it instead of exchange it after we read the other poor reviews.

Item showed up in okay condition but they packaged it in a large box with no bubble wrap or paper. Just tossed all of the toys in a box and sent it so all the boxes look mangled and dented. Extremely disappointed that they'd skip such a simple step to save a few dollars. I likely won't be ordering from target again because that's absurd. I got a deck of cards in the mail worth 5 dollars and they bubble wrapped it, however my hundred dollar order through target gets tossed in a box like it's worth nothing
