Horrible.
This is genuinely the worst purple hair dye I have ever used. My hair somehow turned lighter and patchier than how I started and it’s turned my hair pink and orange??? Would NOT recommend. And smells so strong when you put it on like ammonia and when you wash out is so strong like dye.

Its not that too much strong but if they reach in your scalp its a little bit itchy and hurts but its fade away but actually i try this bleach its i am not so happy the result but i try again after 4 weeks brown hair turn to yellow orange turn to orange

It’s not violet.
Did the try on this shade and loved what it said my hair would look like. It doesn’t look anything like that. My hair is red and I’m devastated. I’m going back to my other brand. I don’t trust Garnier after this and now seeing that the previous reviews also had people turn red instead of violet.

Didn't Color my Hair
I dyed my hair today with this product, B4 that I purchased in May 2025. I noticed it became very thick in the bottle after mixing it. I had to shake it several times to get it to come out. Maybe that was my warning that something was wrong. I put it on my hair and left it on 30 minutes. After rinsing it out, I noticed it barely colored my hair, and the gray was still showing. Kind of a dull color on my hair. I looked for an expiration date, but I didn't see one, only 70Z100.

You’d think with all the bad reviews they’d change the formula or get rid of the color.. I had high hopes that it would come out the color but it’s not even purple. It’s pink/red and not at ALL what I wanted. If I wanted red I would have gotten red..

Not Violet!
The color came out so red it was not even CLOSE to the color on the box. Marketing this as a purple tone is ridiculous, I’ve never been one to want a refund for a product but this is the first time where I would actually pursue a refund.

Majorly disappointed
Went into this excited and ended up regretting it. I was in love with the color on the model, and trusted this to work because it clearly says "visible on dark hair" and it's not. My hair remains exactly the same, but with a red scalp, from the dye not a reaction. Because i have so much hair I bought 2 boxes. I wish I could get a refund.

Beautiful Color
Works well on medium to dark red hair , this is my go to for touch ups . After i dye it i wash with john frieda radiant red shampoo and conditioner. It makes your hair pop . I would not suggest this on hair that is dark brown or black because colour does not show great and your hair would ended up darker. I find its goes better on already reddish hair .

It says purple hair dye that works over dark hair but my hair came out a reddish color. It’s not hideous but it’s definitely not purple. I wanted purple hair and I’m very upset now I have reddish hair. Not at all like the picture is advertising. You guys need to do better.

Minor issues, but results are good!!
This product is pretty good! The instructions were a bit confusing but I looked up a video example and it worked. The smell of the dye was pretty strong even with my fan on and door open so beware of that. It came out a little patchy but my hair is dark so I don’t mind, it looks like it was on purpose because it’s only near my roots. I started at my roots so I’m not sure why that happened. Regardless, I love the way it turned out! It was an obvious blue color and I’m glad I chose this one and not splot. It’s very obvious my hair is a blue grey or an indigo grey and I love it a lot!!! Got a lot of compliments and it didn’t leave my hair feeling super dry!

This product would be great for already bleached hair to lift it and add ash. DO NOT use it if you have brown, dark brown black hair. my hair is a gross brassy orange now. The color legend on the box is deceiving. I'm sad.
