Bristles fried
It caught my hair at the top and bottom of the barrel several times while blow drying. It doesn’t glide through the hair, very stiff. It did give my hair tons of shine. But it wasn’t worth the struggle. I got the blow dryer too close to the brush and the bristles actually fried off. I smelt burning hair and I thought it was mine. Nope. It was the singed brush.

Best brush for blow-drying
I forgot to pack my regular blowdrying brush when I traveled from home. Saw this online when I searched for round blowdrying brushes, but since I am particular what brush I use on my very naturally curly, coarse, medium length hair that I often want to wear smooth, went into the store to see it. Like the Conair ceramic paddle brush that I fell in love with and have used for more than a year, its bristles are a combo of natural boar and plastic tipped. I have never used this combination for blow drying before. But it was the right size (medium) and it happened to be on sale so I thought I’d give it a try. When I washed my hair the next day, I was so impressed at how easily and quickly the job of blow drying was done. Love love love it.

Decent job for decent hair
I’ve used this brush for about a year and it’s worked fine. I’ve had some issues with my hair catching on the rubber grip if I’m not super careful with how I’m holding the brush and hair dryer. Otherwise my hair hasn’t tangled much, and I’ve used it on chin length hair to about 2 inches below my shoulder. It does help add lift to my style, which I appreciate as my hair is fairly fine and likes to fall flat. One thing to note is that it doesn’t seem to like processed hair. I added some color to the front of my hair at my appointment the other day and when I used the round brush this morning, getting it through that section while drying was like trying to get a toddler to eat Brussel sprouts covered in hot sauce and ants. I’ll give it another try or two but I might be looking for a different round brush.

"Sticky" grip on handle catches hair
I like everything about the brush and my hair after using it, but one thing. The black portion on the handle is “sticky” to help with holding grip. Unfortunately, my hair gets caught and “stuck” on it and pulls my hair as I’m blow drying. Just a heads up.

Bristles melted!!!!!
What a piece of absolute junk! It's made for blowing drying yet the bristles have melted! It once melted into my hair and left a horrible burning smell in my hair all day. Cannot believe it. Do not buy if you plan to blow dry your hair with it.
