Must have book
This book is just wonderful and for every household to have. She touched on various topics and challenges kids can face. It teaches kids to accept themselves for who they are: We are all different, unique and special. I even asked my son do you see yourself in any of these stories? He did! I’ve seen Sonia Sotomayor once speak at the College graduation for my sister-in law. She is such an inspiration to all and the first Latina to serve on the Supreme Court of the United States. This book is a must. I even gifted one to my son’s elementary school teacher for kids to read.

Great lesson about different dissabilities
Such a great book that teaches your kids different disabilities everyone could have and also tells them that it’s okay to ask questions instead of just looking and pointing at them.

Wonderful for kids of all abilities, with special health needs!
I am a sucker for books that encourage kids to feel seen, loved, and acknowledge that differences make the world beautiful! I put together a list of every diagnosis listed in this picture book, since I could not find any reference to it online in synopsis or reviews. Diabetes, asthma, wheelchair use, blind, deaf, dyslexia, autism, stutter, Tourette’s syndrome, adhd, nut allergy and Down syndrome.

Love this book
As someone with a disability (autism), I thought this book was great. The pictures are sweet and the descriptions of various common disabilities will probably resonate with younger kids.
