Similac Soy Isomil Powder Infant Formula - 30.8oz: Kosher, Halal, Easy to Digest, Eye Development

We tried 5 other formulas (Bobbie, Bobbie Gentle, Kendamil regular, Kendamil goat, Similac Alimentum), and they all caused diarrhea +/- skin rashes. My friend recommended Soy Isomil because her son with cow's milk allergy did well on it, and I'm happy to say this is the holy grail for us, as well. So grateful this formula exists. Yes the poops are very stinky. No, it's not significantly harder to mix — just use a chopstick or a blender ball in a pitcher. On that front: I think Bobbie was the worst, Kendamil was the easiest, Alimentum strangely floated which was also difficult. Yes, she poops less, only about one time a day and a very thick paste, but it doesn't seem nearly as painful as when she had diarrhea. Might take a 2-3 days to get used to it with some gas and stomach upset, but once it adjusts, this is liquid gold. The only challenge is that not every Target stocks the large can, and when I find it, there are usually only 3-5 cans available...so gotta stock up. :)

We hated this formula. Smelled awful. Gave my son hives, a super red butt, and watery poop. He was so uncomfortable. It also caused him to vomit and choke. All this happened in the first 12 hours of being on it.

This formula did not stop my baby from spitting up or throwing up, and it gave him constipation. We switched from Enfamil GentleEase to prevent gas and spit ups, but then my baby stopped pooping as frequently or as much as before. He was so fussy at night and only warm baths would soothe him. We used this formula for about 3 weeks before switching again to Similac Sensitive. Isomil is very expensive, and it isn’t worth the money for me because it doesn’t work for my child.

My baby has been using this for about a month now. She was very fussy even with similac sensitive (purple). After a few days of switching we have had wonderful fussy-free evenings.

My baby has done great on this formula from a newborn. For the first three months I only got about 1-2 bottles of breastmilk a day. My baby wasn’t gaining enough weight on breastmilk alone. On this formula she almost never spits up, is not colicky, falls right asleep after nighttime feedings, and is gaining weight nicely. Two negatives - first ingredient is 39% corn syrup and there’s no smaller ready feed options. Please make 6-8 ounce ready feed options!

I nursed my baby for 9 months. This formula was an easy transition from breast milk. He loved it. Easy on the Tummy and no gas! I’m so pleased.

This was our fourth formula brand and type to try to supplement BFing due to low supply. We found out our son was lactose intolerant so we switched to soy but came with some side effects: 1. Terrible Constipation causing lack of sleep and restlessness 2. Gas also leading to restlessness 3. Clumpy formula that wouldn’t mix well 4. Some vomiting although this was the reason we switched to soy We are now doing Enfamil nurtamigen and we love it. Finally slept for 2 hours straight.

had to substitute because of alimentum recall. this is better thn any other formula if your child is allergic to cow's milk protein. great for sensitive tummy, reduced colic n gas significantly.

My son can only take Similac Soy. Ordered these cans since Dec. 12, was on back order but Target got them here by Jan. 06. Only 2 days off from the initial delivery time, which isn't too bad considering the holiday mail rush. Very satisfied with my order and will be ordering more since the price is economical compared to how much it is being sold here on Guam.

My baby girl is a month old. She started off with Similac pro advance in the hospital and she was one fussy baby and couldn't handle it well. Switched her to Similac Isomil and it was like a whole new baby! She sleeps through the night and not fussy and gassy all day. Tried Gerber good start soy and it did not go well with her tummy either. Thank God for this formula, I have one happy, healthy baby.

I really liked this formula, my daughter has finally found something that doesn’t trigger her heart burn as much. But since we started on this brand, she’s been constipated, little to no bowel movement every 2-3 days. Also, there’s lots of rumbling in the stomach when she’s feeding, not sure what that is. I really wish she didn’t have constipation because it really was working out for her.

Switched from Similac Advanced, to this soy kind and it’s so much better for my daughter. Easy on her stomach, she has much less gas and spit up from this formula.

Breastfeeding didn’t work out for my son & I. Hospital started him on pro advance but I realized he was very gassy & seemed uncomfortable. We switched to soy & he’s been fine since! 9 months later & we’ve never had problems. My only issue w Target is the price. In store I never have an issue with anyone adjusting the price, everyone is super nice about it. But it will be helpful to change the price online so people can order for delivery.

So my daughter is six weeks old. The hospital started her out on pro advance. She did not do so well with it. A lot of gas and lot of cramping very grumpy.. a lot of crying and fussy after feedings. After four weeks complaining about this issue her pediatrician moved her to soy. She’s doing very well with the soy in fact she loves it and we’ve had no more issues with the fussiness, cramping and being grumpy. For me to stop and do a review us serious I know a lot of moms want to know especially first time moms

I switched to this lactose free option 5 days ago and my baby has not spit up at all. She's happier, less fussy and her bowel movements are more consistent. Great decision to switch her from cows milk

This formula helped sooth my baby tummy issues. He’s able to keep it down and not be colicky.
