I used to be a big fan of this pasta, but the quality has significantly changed. The flavor is different and on two different occasions now I have found weevils in the pasta.

Not the best Mac n cheese but I’m a Mac n cheese fiend so I still chowed it down. It was kinda liquidy and the chickpea taste wasnt necessarily invisible but it was overall comforting like a normal Mac n cheese. The white cheddar flavor was nice 👍

Best Mac'n'Cheese in a box. Love it. I don't want to eat another brand, ever again. But I can't find them anywhere, and it even shows you're out online?? What happened?!? How is it that you have all your other pasta's going around but no White Cheddar Mac? Can you at least start selling the sauce packets?? I can moderate my noodles from the penne or whatever Please fix this, and not like Cracklin' Oats did - at a 25% per year markup. 🧐

Disgusting
If you follow the directions (simmer instead of boil, rinse pasta in warm water after straining) it makes a cold slimy mess with a puddle of milk at the bottom of the pasta and a slight cheese aftertaste.

Banza GF chickpea shells & white cheddar
I was skeptical at first...chickpeas, $3.29 for a box? I don't require gluten-free but I do like to replace wheat where I can, especially if it's a nutritious alternative. Seeing buttermilk in the ingredients list, I got excited. Cooked with milk and butter, it's delicious. It doesn't have quite the same chew as wheat pasta but the texture is good. Subtle chickpea taste, nothing to complain about. The cheese makes it great. Buttermilk isn't an ingredient in most boxed mac & cheese and it works wonderfully in this.

Did not neet expectations
The protein and fiber contents intrigued me to buy. Was highly disappointed in the taste of this product. When boiling the pasta I noticed it had a foul odor which i’m assuming was from the chic peas. It was more of a mush rather than a pasta.

Pasta is VERY delicate. Once you over-boil it, it becomes gloopy and loses its firm texture. This is my 3rd time trying to perfect the temperature to boil the pasta. On its own, it’s a bit watery and bland if you don’t add extra cheese or spices. Also, it foams ridiculously, be careful if it overflows on your stove.
