A: Hi - this lamp uses three bulbs, one maximum 150 watt standard-medium base bulb for the main light and two 40 watt standard-medium base bulbs for side lights (bulbs are not included). So you can use LED bulbs that use those maximum wattages, or you can use lower wattage LED bulbs if you want. Hope that helps! Thank you for the question.

A: No, the side lights are only rated for maximum 40 watt bulbs, so using 60 watt bulbs exceeds that. However, if you want more light from the side lights, we suggest using LED bulbs, which produce far more light per watt than incandescents. So, for example. a 40 watt LED bulb can be had that outputs around the same amount of light as a 100 watt incandescent bulb. Hope that helps, thank you for the question.

The shade is too short for my 150 W bulb, it needs to be at least an inch taller to prevent glare. I'm not able to keep this lamp where I wanted it, I have to swap it with another or shop for another shade.
