Brilliant blade cleaning concept
Brilliant system cleans really well can't recommend this strongly enough superb system. Only issue is getting hold of the cartridges & being sure your buying the correct one.

Drive shaft bad design
I’ve now gone through two cleaning pods, and both have failed in the same way after about a year of use (need order a third one). The drive shaft that connects to the razor head wears down to the point where it can no longer drive the cleaning pump. The material used for this component is clearly too soft—the top simply rounds off with normal use. What’s especially frustrating is that there are no spare parts available, so the only option is to replace the entire unit. At the current price, that makes this a very expensive piece of equipment to maintain over time. Overall, this feels like a design flaw rather than normal wear and tear. I expected much better durability for the cost, and unfortunately, it’s left me quite disappointed.

Razor looks like new
Your razor looks new after using this, I could never get my razor as clean as this, I even put my old razor in to the liquid, it came out so clean. I wont use water to clean my razor, I use this after every shave.

Drive Shaft wears out after about a year.
now on my second cleaning pod and after about 1 year the drive shaft interface with the razor head wears out so it does not drive the cleaning pump. no spare parts available so at the current price its a very expensive gadget. The drive shaft material iOS so weak the top just rounds off! not a happy customer

Great Philips product
It is a really good system and it only takes a couple of minutes to use. It is far quicker than the old cleaning device especially if you do like I do I always brush my shaver out after every shave. It's a very good cleaning product. And you get a new shaver every day using the philips washing cleaning device and if you purchase the s9000 system you get all of the information from your shaver on your app . It's a first class product five stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟.

Difficult to get past the strong scent
It was impossible to get past the strong scent of the cleaning solution that gets imparted on the shaving heads after cleaning. I don't use scented products in general, but could accept it for the cleaning benefits if the scent didn't last long after cleaning.

Cleans your shaver very well
I am using this for the first time on my shaver series 9000 and I couldn’t be happier. My shaver smells nice and feels as good as new after each clean. I am still using the brush and water and then the pod. Today I even took out the cartridge and looked at the bottom of it and saw how the little hair is being caught in the little channels at the bottom of the cartridge so the hair that comes out of the shaver doesn’t float around in the cleaning solution

I saw a deal on another brand and I thought I would get it and give it a try. I had to swap pods about twice as often did not get the blades very clean. I would run it under the faucet to finish cleaning it. I will stay with the original manufacturer brand.

The pods are nice, however I have a problem with Phillips selling the shavers and not the pods in stores. Makes me want to not bother, the shipping cost is half of the total pod costs. My last Phillips was the same story, had a motorized unit you couldn’t find cleaner for
