Description

The Polar Ice Shoulder and Hip Wrap delivers the benefits of cryotherapy with compression for soft tissue trauma. By reducing pain and controlling edema or swelling, cold therapy allows faster return of normal function. Encapsulated ice packs filled with purified water are encased in soft fleece material that eliminates migration of ice wrap during use. It can be easily adjusted with hook and loop closure straps. This fleece wrap conforms to the body and insulates skin to prevent frost bite. Use post-surgically, during rehabilitation and following physical activity. It is effective to provide pain relief for bruises, sprains or injuries requiring cold therapy. Universal sizing fits both shoulder and hip.

could be better

Works okay. The big part needs another strap. The small part needs a strap that can wrap around more or at least velcro onto itself. I use it more on my hip and hip-flexor because I can put something heavy on it to compensate for the poor strap setup. Weighting down the part on my hip and hip-flexor pushes the cold onto the skin and helps ice that inflamed muslce better than the strap which does not provide much pressure.

Great coverage but not cold enough and didn’t stay cold long enough for actual relief.
