Good absorption

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Summers in the Texas sun means I always need a bottle of sunscreen in my bag. I usually struggle with the absorption of mineral based sunscreens but I found Sun Bum left very little whit cast after application. I used it during a baseball tournament and finished out the day without any sun issues. I did have a that mineral sunscreen smell but I didn’t find it as overwhelming as other brands I’ve tried. My one downside was that it was fairly messy. I had barely opened the lid and the lotion squirted all over my legs. I would have understood that if it had been sitting in my hot bag all day, but this was when we first got to the park and still early in the day. I wish the formula was a tad less runny.

A mineral sunscreen that actually feels comfortable enough to want to wear.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the feel of this sunscreen, which actually surprised me because mineral sunscreens can sometimes feel thick or chalky. This one feels comfortable on my skin, not greasy, and once rubbed in, I barely notice it’s there. I like having a mineral option that still feels nice enough that I actually want to use it. It doesn’t leave the usual WhiteCast, it’s super easy to dispense, and the packaging keeps the sunscreen in. Will definitely keep this in my sun bag!

Lightweight, mineral sunscreen that smells great and blends in better than expected

A lot of mineral SPFs feel thick and leave a thick/noticeable residue, but this one rubbed in really well and felt lightweight on my skin. The scent was also really nice without being overpowering. I also like that it uses zinc oxide mineral protection instead of some of the harsher chemical sunscreen ingredients you see in many conventional formulas. Overall, it felt comfortable and I like this cleaner option compared to a lot of mainstream sunscreens.

I have recently switched to using all mineral sunscreens instead of the chemical ones because they burn my eyes so badly. Like I have to pull over on the freeway because I can’t see. Not good! The Sun Bum Mineral 30 does NOT migrate into my eyes al all. Woo hoo! I use it everyday as I am constantly outdoors. It rubs in quickly and absorbs fast. It also does not have a greasy finish. It’s more on the matte side, which I love. The scent is light and almost unnoticeable. So good!

Protected skin & hydrated!

This product is the opposite- not only does it smell great but it blended into my skin so there was no trace. It made my skin feel moisturized and hydrated while protecting from the harmed UV rays outside. Excellent product!

Good one

Good for the whole family

A lot of mineral sunscreens feel thick and are hard to spread but this one goes on pretty smoothly. It still leaves some white residue at first (pretty normal for a mineral sunscreens) but then blends in within a minute or so. I also love that it doesn’t have that harsh sunscreen smell. It feels moisturizing without being greasy and I feel good about using it on my kids (instead of chemical sunscreens) when we’re outside in the Houston sun.
