Great book!
I like how they teach why our skin is different from others--different levels of melanin!

Power in a Book
My new favorite children’s book. The power this book holds is amazing. Good way to introduce children that racism exists and we need to stand up for others and love all types of skin not just what we are use to. Love this! My 6 year sister loves it for her book library!

Better than most children’s books on race
This book discusses skin color and racism in concrete terms which a child can understand. It should not be labeled as for ages 0-3. I would suggest age 4 to 5 as the beginning age. I share a photo of a page demonstrating the language level and sorts of concepts.
