Do not buy! If the bottle tilts a little, then air pressure forms and water sprays everywhere randomly. I have even unscrewed the lid to release the air pressure and water still leaks out, got water all over my car/desk/myself!

I love these bottles and have used them for years! I have over the years had the various issues stated in other reviews! All except the mold issue! I have never seen mold in my bottles! Maybe it’s because my husband runs them through the dishwasher every day. As far as leaks go it’s all about straw placement and temperature. If the star is not placed correctly then the bottle leaks or you have too much air mixed into what you are drinking. If you keep them closed and the temperature rises quickly then you may get sprayed. I have a dry mouth issues so I am constantly drinking something! I have used this brand of water bottle as far back as when the ones with the screw in straw were available years ago. I have to say the screw in straws were the best ones I have but even with those I have had from leaking to getting sprayed by whatever is in my bottle! The reason I rate these bottles and this brand so highly is due to the alternative bottles I have tried. I have tried many and they just wear out quickly or grow moldy even though they are washed daily! So over a long period of time I have found these to be the best option for long term use. I keep several in stock for when the old ones get too worn out to be used anymore. I just recently got rid of the last ones with screw in straws because they wore out and replaced them with these models which have been around for years! That is why I know it’s been years since the last of the screw in straws were available. I do know that these bottles last for years! I carry them around everywhere. My doctors even know they are mine if I accidentally leave one at their office. They usually call and I just tell them to dump the contents, rinse if they want to and I will come back and get them during office hours! They have been for me the most economical option for a bottle due to their longevity! You can find cheaper ones but in the long run they will not last nor stay clean!

Leaks from under the lid

I like the bottle and how it works but unfortunately the second time in top rack if dishwasher the bottom curved out and now it wont sit in a surface. Why have it say top rack dishwasher when it’s not safe to do so??? Now I have 2 useless bottles. This seems to be consistent with other reviewers.

I bought this for my Mom because her Contigo Ashland that she had for years and years lid handle broke … the problem with the new one is … every time she drinks water the water spout thing makes noises … dolphin , kitten , chickens… come to mind every time she takes a sip … every one laughs, but it is annoying

I like that it’s east to use but what I dislike is some times when I open the drink area the water squirts out and makes a big wropin mess everywhere

After a while the spout seems like it makes a noise when you drink. I believe it's because I washed it and maybe messed something up. Loved the light purple design very nice and receive many compliments!

I loved the original version of this. I had several. I use them every day for drinking water and crystal light with caffeine (instead of coffee/ soda). I've purchased at least 4 of this version and every single one leaks. You cannot tild this water bottle, let alone shake it. The straw is horrible too. Not user friendly at all. I don't know why they changed, but it was a bad decision.

Straw leaks like crazy and noisy. I bought this because I left my Pogo 32 oz straw bottle on a trip, and Target was out of the Pogo. Please save your money. For the same price, you can buy two Pogo straw bottles that are 32 oz, same durable plastic, and BPA-free that do not leak! Target carries them.

I have it for not even a year and the spout doesn’t work. It’s not a cheap item!

Not worth it. It broke within a few days of regular use by my nine year old. Frustrating that it broke so fast. Complete waste of money. The piece is completely broken off. Not just an easy snap back on….

No spills. Easy to clean. The straw sometimes has to be adjusted for the water to go up.

How on earth do I put it back together?

It's not up to the same quality as contigo water bottles I've had in the past! The straw is constantly getting stuck on the bottom of the bottle so I can't drink. It takes forever to adjust it and it's so annoying.

Unfortunately, the new design does not work for us. A component inside the cap gets loose or breaks somehow. It looses suction while trying to drink and you end up getting mostly air. 3 of the 4 purchased in August have broken. The old design lasted 2-3 years.

Only after a month of use the bottle dis-shaped and is not closing properly causing water to spill. Disappointing.

Perfect for long drives or watching soccer games.

It’s hard to find this kind with straw. I am glad you guys carry it.

It started leaking within a week of buying it. We have to keep them upright, which definitely isn’t going to work as a school water bottle for the kids as we wanted to.
