[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent this this vitamin c serum a while back and I love it, it has improved my skin’s elasticity and it feels firmer than before, I have used different vitamin c serums before but this one I love, I just repurchased a back up because I love everything about it including the the scent.

After using it for a bit, my skin looks brighter and a lot smoother. Is it a miracle worker that erases every fine line? No. But it definitely helps with dullness and texture, and that’s a win in my book. Overall, it’s a solid serum that makes my routine feel a little more put together.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time trying the Strivectin brand. I have sun-damaged skin and very large pores so vitamin C and Retinol are a very important part of my skincare at the moment. I was very happy to find that this product did not break me out since that has been my main issue with anything containing vitamin C. This Vitamin C - Retinol combination is very gentle on the skin and does not cause any redness or irritation. It absorbs very quickly leaving no greasiness. It layers well with all my products. At first, I loved the scent but after a time it can get a little overwhelming since it is very strong. Scents do not typically bother me so this may not be the best fit for people sensitive to strong skincare scents. After 40 days of use, I can tell a huge difference in my skin. My large pores have almost disappeared and my face is smoother and brighter. I will definitely keep this in my skincare rotation!

I really like that the scent is not very strong and the texture is lightweight and feels refreshing while applying. It is a little sticky until it absorbs but it only takes a couple mins or so. From there I generally smell the product before use and it has a light citrus scent with an orange color The product was light and absorbed into the skin relatively quickly, it didnt leave my skin sticky

I have pretty sensitive skin, so I was afraid to use it too often, as I didn't want to overdo it up front. I'm working my way up, so my skin gets used to it. I really like this serum, as I can see it is making my skin feel more lively and not as full anymore. It also feels more supple and smooth. I use an exfoliating scrub in the shower on my face, so when I get out and use this serum, it does have a little sting to it. I always put my moisturizer on immediately after applying the serum. That is the real key and not a step to be missed. I highly suggest you give StriVectin Super-C Retinol a try if you think your face is dull and texture feels uneven.

At the end of four weeks, my face felt a little bit softer and brighter - hard to tell about fine lines, though. I could only use it once or twice a week, as I did find it irritated my rosacea if I used it more often. All in all decent product!
