This moisturizing lotion is a beloved choice among guests for its lightweight, non-greasy formula that hydrates effectively without causing breakouts. Many appreciate its versatility, using it both day and night, and its ability to layer well under makeup. The addition of SPF 35 makes it a practical option for daily use, while its fragrance-free nature caters to sensitive skin. Overall, it stands out as a reliable staple in skincare routines.

Saved My Skin
Busted my skin barrier from trying a different moisturizer. This saved and left my skin feeling hydrated and soft, not just at the surface! skin doesn't feel tight. Love. Continuing to use. I also really like that I put it on before bed and come morning my skin still feels hydrated, soft, and not tight :)

Stinks
Im not sure how this prduct has so many good reviews. It smells like a mans hand after hes been working on the car all day. And im lathering it all over my face-yuck. It doesbt do anything magical. It feels like every other moisturiser out there on the market, just with an added stink.

Been using it for 50+ years
I started using Clinique faithfully 54 years ago. About ten years ago my niece asked me why I had fewer wrinkles than her. For being a senior citizen my skin clear and almost no wrinkles. This and cliniques eye cream are my go to skin system and I've had amazing results!

This lotion goes on so smoothly, leaving no oily residue. This was also my Mother's favorite lotion, she used it for years.

Meh
I had high hopes for this face lotion after reading reviews and ingredients. However, this just sat on top of my skin and did not seem to absorb/truly moisturize my very dry, reaction prone, sensitive skin. I did not have a significant negative reaction to the lotion, so it being sensitive skin friendly is true and hence the 2 stars (not 1). But since it did not moisturize my skin and has a moderately high price, I do not think it worthwhile or a good value. I have tried many lotions that unfortunately have a similar lackluster effect, and the one that worked the best for me got discontinued, so my search for a new face lotion continues.

NOT fragrance free, filled with cheap OILS
Cute how Clinique products claim to be "fragrance free", then put lanolin or linalool in all of them. This product is NOT fragrance free; it contains lanolin - check the ingredient list closely. It is also filled with cheap oils; mineral oil is the 2nd ingredient on the list (so how is this so much $$??), petroleum is another (same as pore-clogging vaseline), sesame oil (the cheap junk used on our french fries), & sunflower seed cake/oil (the #1 worst seed oil i've ever put on my face to date yet), therefore, I cannot recommend this product to anyone. Especially if you have sensitive skin, or are at all acne prone, steer clear of this. It is false advertising, & they are charging an exorbitant price for the cheapest of cheap ingredients (that mess up everyone's flesh - not just mine; I don't even have sensitive/acne prone skin, & this wrecked me.)

MINERAL OIL (2nd ingredient), petroleum & fragrance; RUN!
How is this so pricey, when it's all MINERAL OIL?? + PETROLEUM, + fragrance (linalool), + a slew of other cheap oils, all which cause deeply painful cystic acne?? So much for "oil-free" & "dermatologist tested". These terms mean nothing anymore. If I wanted to break out his badly, i would've bought some cheap $1 mineral oil & vaseline, & slathered that on. The other oils aren't helpful either. Stop putting this cheap junk in our face products!! Ohhh, wait - i get it...great business model. Cuz now we all need to buy 89 more products to correct &/or hide the mess this made. Great for profits; not so great for our flesh. I wouldn't pay $1 for this MINERAL OIL (& petroleum) based product; it's the 2nd ingredient in the list!! It has taken me over 4 weeks to try to fix my face after using this. It's also stupid light weight; not even remotely close to being "hydrating." I'd say it's probably OK for oily skin - but NOPE, not when it's literally all OILS it's not. If u wanna try this, get some cheap mineral oil & vaseline & put that on. Tonsa $$ saved; same effect. xoxo
