I bought this blow dryer brush believing it would be better for my hair in comparison to a blow dryer. My hair literally smells like it’s been set on fire after each use. At first, I thought it just needed to be broken in. Yet it’s actually gotten worse. Definitely not worth the money and unfortunately I’m unable to return it at this time so I’m stuck with it. Will not be using again as it definitely is damaging my hair. I’m constantly losing little pieces of hair after every use.

They sent me a free replacement and upon using it feels hot rather quickly. I didn’t have this issue before I hope this product lasts a long time it’s quite expensive if it doesn’t last a few years

I first got my double shot in 2020, and it changed my life. Best blow dry brush I've ever tried, as someone with 3b hair. Yes after like 2 years they glitch, but there's a warranty for a reason!!! Love this, will repurchase!

I'm torn making this review. I've gone through 2 of these. One was a gift, lasted about 2.5/3 years. The bristles and brush were practically flat. The second i purchased in April 2023. It's now May 2025 and they are messed up, flat and missing. I'm torn writing this because the blowdryer does wonders to my hair! However, the longevity of this blowdryer even with mostly regular upkeep it still gets messed up.

I bought mine brand new in the store. I had hoped that spending more for a trusted brand meant it would last a long time and work well. I was glad there's a warranty just in case. It didn't even last two months and the motor died! And the warranty process is lengthy. They received my old one over a week ago and still haven't shipped a new one. I do love the bristles on this one better than other brands I've bought. But it didn't even last two mos!?

Bought this november 2022, its may 2025, and it just overheated to the point the handle was so hot my hands were burning and it stopped blowing air. Ive ised this teice a week every week and its such a great product. It saves me time and with my wavy hair i can skip straightening with it. The price its too much for a product that doesnt last 5+ years…. Make a better product or lower the cost.

Anyhow, I loved this brush, used it an average of twice per week. I tried to turn it on yesterday and it didn't work. I hit the reset on the tool itself as well as on the outlet, but it is dead, Very disappointed that it lived such a short life,

I have 2 of the yellow drybar dryers and this HOT SHOT and these products are beast. I've had the blow dryer for 7 years and the hot shot since it came out. I've tried other brushdryers and none smooth the cuticles and leave the shine like the hot shot. Now, they need to make a rotating dryer brush!

I purchased the oval once and round x2. I have a short bob cut, hoping these bldryer would work perfect but NOT the case. lThe bristles bend and become weak. Hair gets caught and pulls too.

Was gifted the Double Shot from my mom and it’s a complete game changer! I was never one to have a clue on how to style hair, but let me tell you it’s so easy to use and maneuver with the devices tangle free cord and oval brush that I did it like a pro on the first try. 10/10 would recommend this to the first timers and instant confidence boost.
