I applied to clean skin directly after showering in the morning. The scent itself is pleasant and refreshing at first, but it didn't stay that way. Throughout the day, it grew to be herbal and mixed with the smell of sweat to give off a real hippy vibe. Not in a fun way. To its credit, there was a scent that lasted over 24 hours, just not the original smell of the stick before applying. This unpleasant scent development happened each time I tried the deodorant, and that was without any heavy exercise or extreme heat exposure, just regular light sweating throughout the summer day. I might be willing to try a different scent from the same series, but don't expect total coverage of the smell of sweat.
